Lol I guess you can say that I'm writing a book about this BB sequel. Of course if this was a book, Disney would have made a real sequel about this right now instead of the one that have now that's coming soon next month. So far I've got that song from the BB2 website stuck in my head now, hehehe XD. Okay now forgot about me let's continue on with the story shall we? ;D
Chapter 7
The quest for searching for Koda's older brother felt like it was going to take forever to find him....at least that's what Nadine thought. She was getting annoyed from the stories and singing Koda was doing, but Kimba seem to have enjoy it. Of course Nadine knew that Kimba has never met another bear cub before cause she knew that Kimba had not often get around to talk to other animals, especially bear cubs that were around her same age like Koda.
Both human and the two cubs kept on searching for what seem like hours, until Nadine couldn't take it much longer and falls down on the large rock, deciding that she needed a rest. "Boy I'm tired!" Nadine panted.
"Awww come on Nadine, don't give up. I know that Koda's big brother should be around here somewhere." Kimba said, gently patting her on the leg. Koda thought it was best for the two girls to rest for a while. After all, they have search for Kenai for hours without no luck. While Kimba and Nadine were resting, Koda caught a scent of a bear somewhere close to where they were. Even Kimba caught the bear's scent.
"Hey do you smell something?" Kimba asked, sniffing the air. Koda sniffed out the air too. "Hey I do. I think its--" But Koda pauses for a moment when he heard the faint call of someone calling out for his name. It was coming somewhere undernearth the bottom of the short cliff that Koda and the girls were on.
"Is it your brother Koda?" Nadine asked, getting up from her resting spot. But Koda didn't hear Nadine's question. He quickly looked down at the small cliff to see an elder brown bear calling for him, wandering where he was. It was Kenai.
"Its Kenai!!" Koda cried out excitedly, he was so happy to have found his brother again that he did a backflip.
But before Nadine and Kimba could reacted, Koda slide down off the cliff and rushes over to his brother. "Kenai!!!" The little brown cub cried out excitedly and playfully pounces on Kenai. Kenai who heard the sound of a familar voice, yelled when he felt a small piece of weight crashing right into him knocking down onto the ground. But he was relief to found out it was only his little brother Koda.
Kenai couldn't help but smile and gave Koda a big hug. He was happy to find his little brother again. Kenai layed flat on his back and playfully tosses Koda up in the air and catches him with his stron bear arms, giving Koda another bear hug.
Koda smiled. "I'm so glad to see you again Kenai." He happily said, wagging his cute little small tail. Kenai gave Koda one last hug and gently puts him down. He was happy too, but he wanted to know why Koda had ditched him. "I'm happy to see you again too, but what were you thinking when you left me behind in the middle of the woods? I search hours for you!!" Kenai cried. But Koda just shrugged at his elder brother.
"Sorry about that Kenai." Koda said, but while the two bear brothers were talking, Kimba and Nadine follow Koda and slide down carefully off the cliff and saw Koda talking to his brother.
"Hey that must be Kenai Koda was talking about. Let's so greet him." Kimba said to Nadine but she takes off to meet the big bear before Nadine could say anything. "Hi!" Kimba greeted. Kenai had noticed a yellow female bear cub coming to greet him.
"Oh hi there. Is this a friend of yours Koda?" Kenai asked. Koda placed his arm around on Kimba's shoulder and smiled at her and Kenai. "Yep, this is my new best friend Kimba. I found her and Nadine while I was lost in the woods and they help me found you." Koda answered.
"Wait...whose Nadine?" Kenai asked, Kimba looked back to see Nadine coming towards their way and the little young she bear cub pointed over to the female human that was coming to greet Kenai.
Kenai looked up to see a young beautfiul girl coming towards him. He gulped neveously feeling very shy to greet a girl for the first time. His heart beat so fast he almost felt like he was having trouble breathing, but Kenai ingored it. He could even feel some butterfiles rising around inside of his belly. Was Kenai falling head over heels for this new girl he had never seen before?
Nadine walked up to Kenai and the two cubs. She stare deeply into Kenai's beautiful brown eyes. She could tell that this bear seem to be nevous meeting her. Nadine could relate to that for then she was also very shy too, but there was something very strange about this brown grizzly bear. Both girl and bear were locked into each other eyes, staring to one another.
'Are they having some kind of staring contest?' Kimba wondered to herself. She had never seen her human friend staring at another bear before...but then again she hardly ever knew a bunch of bears around here. But seeing his brother and his new friend staring at each other was getting on Koda's nerves.
"Ahem so anyway..." Koda begin to say. "Nadine and Kimba need our help with something." He said to Kenai, but was feeling left out as he saw that Kenai was still staring at Nadine. The two cubs thought that Kenai and Nadine were falling for each other right now, but they weren't really sure. Until Nadine snapped outta her thoughts when she remembered what Koda had said.
"Oh yeah! Ummm...what he said." Nadine pointed out. "So anyway....we promise that we help Koda find you if both of you can help us find our way back to our village." She said. So Kenai agreed. "Sure. It was nice enough for both of you girls to help me get back with my little brother again, so we be more than happy enough to help you out." Kenai said.
"Thanks." Kimba reply.
"So which village do you live?" Kenai asked.
"Well..." Nadine started to say. "We both live somewhere I'm guessing that's kinda far from here...I guess. You see, me and Kimba accidently got seprated from our friend Denahi and---" Nadine explained but Kenai had cut her off when he heard her saying something about his brother.
"Denahi?! You know Denahi?" Kenai asked in shocked.
Nadine suddenly paused for a moment. This bear knows about her friend? "Yeah...wait a mintue! You know him?" She asked.
"I'm his brother." Kenai answered.
Nadine was shocked. This new bear that she met...was the brother of her friend back at her new village?! But how was that possible? It sounded like the most craziest idea she had ever heard, but from the look on Kenai's expression, it seem like it was 100% true.
"Wait a second! How can you be Denahi's brother!?!? You're a bear!!" She cried. But Kenai wasn't so sure if he wanted to tell Nadine about his transformation. It seem like it was the only thing to prove to this new girl that he wasn't lying. But he decided to leave that out....for now. Kenai just wasn't ready to tell Nadine about how he became a bear because he was afraid it might suprised her too much.
"Well its a very long story..." Kenai said, wanting to point it out. But Nadine had heard way too much. "Okay never mind. If you want, you can tell me it later when you're ready. I won't care." She said smiling at Kenai. Kenai smiled back at her. This was the most nicest girl he had never met. 'Til the butterflies was rising up higher inside of his stomach. Kenai didn't knew it yet, but he was beginning to fall in love with Nadine.
Nadine noticed that this bear seem to be having a big crush on her. 'Is this bear flirting at me? I can't believe it. I just met a bear that really likes me a lot and now he's flirting at me! Maybe there's more to Kenai than I thought...' Nadine thought herself. But she had to admit that this bear seem really nice, but the whole brother realationship thingy about him and Denahi was already stuck inside her mind and she wanted to find out why.
But Nadine knew it was best not to rush it. "So does this mean that we're still going to the Salmon Run today or no?" Koda asked Kenai. "What's a Salmon Run?" Kimba asked.
Koda could not believe that his bear cub friend didn't know what the Salmon Run was. He pranced around happily and excited than ever before. "Its this really great place where all of the bears go. There's a lot of bears and a ton of fish! And every single night we watch the lights touch the mountain that's right next door to the Salmon Run!" Koda said.
"And one time, me and my friend Bucky had--" Koda rushed with excitement, but Kenai put his paws around Koda's mouth. "Hey what did I say about talking to fast?!" Kenai asked, glaring at Koda a little. Koda just made a small innocent little grin on his face, pretending to act all innocent like. He pushes away his brother's paws from his mouth, still grinning with his childlike grin. Both Nadine and Kimba giggled a bit to themself, but Kenai was already fast enough to hear the two girls laughing at Koda's childlike innocents.
"I'm sooooo sorry." Koda lied. Kenai just rolled his eyes in frustration towards his younger brother. "Whatever! There's always another time to go to the Salmon Run. But if you want, I can take you there after we dropped off Nadine and Kimba back to their home." Kenai answered to Koda. "Awww....but I wanna come to this Salmon Run too." Kimba said and goes over to beg at Nadine. "Can we go with them Nadine....please?!" Kimba begged, but Nadine shook her head.
"Nope! Sorry but I'm afraid that this Salmon Run place is for bears only." Nadine answered. "I'm a bear too." Kimba answered. "Yeah I know but I don't think I'm allowed to go there. If I were a bear too, I would probably go." Nadine said.
Kimba sighed. She knew that her friend was right, but then again Nadine was ALWAYS right about everything.
"Well I guess its time to get going. But don't worry I'll get you girls back to your home faster than Koda could catch a salmon." Kenai replied. "Hey!!" Koda cried, playfully pushing on Kenai's belly. "Hehehe just kidding you know what I mean little brother." Kenai said, giving Koda a noogie on the head.
"Hey do you guys want me to sing?" Asked Koda.
"NO!!!" Nadine and Kenai both said at the same time. "Okay fine, how about some more stories?" He asked. "Sure!" Kimba said. She would never get tired of listening to Koda's stories or his singing.
Both Kenai and Nadine rolled their eyes at the two cubs, but they both seem to agree about Koda's annoying little personaily.
"Does your brother always gets annoying everytime you're with him?" Nadine asked. "Believe me, you have no idea." Kenai answered as both human and bears were on their way to take Kimba and Nadine back home....
