It's getting closer and closer can't wait until it's released From the pictures I think the animation is similar to Pocahontas 2 and looks like there will be a lot of relationship happening in the movie

Hnmm....I was hoping there would be more. But there's only three pics so far. All though Kenai looks really cute as a small child. But I'm still too worried about it by the time it comes out on August 29.

Wow! The animation looks better than I expected it would be (well, Tug could be better, but beyond that). I can't wait to see it, especially the part with Rutt and Tuke with the two moose cows (at least, I think those are supposed to be cows in the foreground). Live long and prosper. -EbonyPatriot

Or maybe they're Rutt and Tuke's family members I suppose.

That's why I said I think; they more than likely are cows, since Disney (at least to judge from their previous cervid characters) doesn't make their deer drop their antlers. Still, you never know, hence the word 'think.' Live long and prosper. -EbonyPatriot

Yeah but don't only the male mooses have antlers?

Yes, but the bulls 'drop'- or shed- their antlers every year, in winter I believe. In spring, the antlers start to regrow and by the fall rut their antlers are full grown, larger than last year, and ready to fight. Live long and prosper. -EbonyPatriot

Hmmm....very interesting. But at least they're back so that's good, including Tug. But will Denahi and Sitka come back too?

Ah, already a debate about the moose. XD It does seem to be a rule with Disney: you can never see a fully-grown male deer without antlers. Perhaps it's seen as demeaning. XD (Certainly, Rutt's broken antler was!) I'd say it was to avoid confusing younger (or less knowledgeable) viewers, but that's just silly; and anyway, showing it would be an opportunity to inject a bit of "educational value" into the film, which is always a plus. Mostly, it bothers me because I'm a nitpicker and a perfectionist. I've been assuming that the sequel takes place during the winter just following Kenai's final transformation (which would also place it before Kenai's ceremony at the end of the first film); if that's the case, and Rutt and Tuke haven't dropped their antlers yet, then Rutt should still have only one. On the other hand, this movie could take place a full year after the first -- but if that's the case, why doesn't Koda look any older? (Actually, the aging of bear cubs in Brother Bear has always been a source of great confusion and frustration for me, so I'll just leave it at that...) Yes, I do know I'm overanalyzing this. Anyway, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks Tug looks a little bit -- okay, a lot -- off. He looks overly simplified, and his proportions seem exaggerated. He's lost his original shape; the slope of his back reminds me of Koda. It's disappointing, but I guess not terribly surprising; the bears in the first film had such incredible detail, and Tug was an especially complicated character. Still, I think DisneyToon's animators are capable of better than this; and anyway, it's only one screenshot, and of a wide shot to boot. I'll wait till I see more.
