This has already been posted at the IMDB board, but as usual I'm repeating it here for sake of completeness. The report comes, once again, from Animated News: "Whereas the trailer on the Bambi II DVD featured Jason Marsden ( The Lion King II: Simba's Pride) in the role, Kenai will be voiced by Grey's Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey in Brother Bear 2. The character was voiced by Joaquin Phoenix in the first film. In addition to this news, Ultimate Disney has acquired the sequel's DVD artwork."

Hahah! Good find! The DVD cover doesn't look half bad, I like Koda's expression XD
August 29th, eh? I'm in college by then, but oh well XP

I saw that on animated-news.com yesterday and I must say I'm quite a little bit shocked on how they change Kenai's voice actor like that fast!
But I gotta admit, the DVD cover of Brother Bear 2 doesn't look that half bad. But somehow Nita looks a little bit diffrent on the front cover. I only wish they could have also put those female moose on the front cover too, along with maybe perhaps Denahi Sitka Tanana, and of course Innoko perhaps.

It doesn't shock me that they changed Kenai's voice.

I actually must say I dislike the DVD cover. Koda and Kenai look too different.

Covers revealed at this stage are almost never the final product; I think it's possible that the characters will look more on-model by the time of release. Still, I love Koda's expression here, and I hope they can preserve it if they do make significant changes. If nothing else, they ought to give Tuke a new expression. He's had the same look since the original theatrical posters, and it's not getting any younger.

Well Nita does look a little bit younger on the cover, but Tuke's expression on there looks rather dumb!

Personally, i think that we should have expected them to change a voice or two in the sequel. i'm surprised that Koda's voice was kept the same. Sorry if i sound really grouchy. However, despite how much i love the original, i have really low expectations for Disney sequels. Though i'll admit, the cover doesn't look half as bad.

Wew -_-; how could I miss this
The DVD cover looks good even though I kinda dissapointed that the characters look a lot different. I already had this feeling because in many Disney sequels many things have changed
