Being an enthusiastic reader as well as a writer of stories, poetry, song lyrics and anything else that takes my interest, I'm pretty curious as to what books all of you enjoyed a lot. My own personal favourite book ever is Behemoth by Stephen Baxter. It's so very absorbing and I read non-stop for almost an entire day on that. The characters and their realtionships are developed so well with such a tense and captivating storyline, as well as being so vivdly descriptive, attentive to detail and well written, I ended up crying my eyes out at some of the very sad moments, of which there are a lot. It's a great book though and I'd strongly recommend it to anyone looking for an engrossing read.

Heheh! Then I'd recommend The Sight and The Warlock Name for ya! They're one heck of a book! ^^ Oh! And for some Brother Bear knowledge from behind the scenes, I also recommend Brother Bear: A Transformation Tale. It's a pretty good book to know how much trouble the creators when through to give us the movie we know and love today

Great reads! I would love to try these! So far I can say that I've read "The Wainscott Weasel" And "Dinoverse". Not your high level grade of reading, but it sure did entertain me well enough!

Aw nice! I'll look around for those titles. I don't mind what kind of read it is as long as I enjoy it. ^^
Oh, btw. I think I forgot to mention what Behemoth is about for those of you who might be wondering. It's divided into three books, one based on present, one past and one future. Each follows the story of a group of mammoths in the time of the Ice Age and each tells the sad story of how they are adversely affedted by the works of humans. Very emotional book I found. Not your typical all's well that end's well type thing!
Oh. And has anyone else here read and liked the Redwall series? I've read all of 'em and think they're great. ^_^

Awesome! Behemoth sounds interesting! I've not read Redwall, but I know there was an animated series about it. I've seen some of those!

I used to read a lot more than I have in recent times; it's sad to think that there was a time when I would be completely absorbed in the story until it was finished, but nowadays I often have trouble pushing myself to complete a novel. I think it's about time I changed that... Anyway, my favorite books are usually fantasy; I also tend to be drawn to stories about animals -- I suppose that's why I'm here, after all. There are a lot of titles I could mention, but I think at the moment I want to highlight one book: The Neverending Story. It's the kind of story that pulled me in completely every time I read it; and yet I nearly allowed myself to forget it in the past few years. I'm just now rediscovering it.

I usually read a lot of fantasy novels my favorites are the Magic The Gathering novels that are written by J. Robert King. Recently I've been reading "Warrior of Light : A manual" a book about how does a person should deal with their life. And Brother Bear : A Transformation Tale is a very good book I've only read a few pages of it now I'm still trying to find that book >.<

Wow. Nice list there EP. And I read another book by the author of Grapes Of Wrath, John Steinbeck, and I thought that was pretty alright. Wouldn't say it was a waste of trees. ^ ^
Of course, I absolutely loved the LOTR books. Though the movies were pretty excellent, they still don't compare to the books. ^_^
Actually, some books I've put on my meaning to read list (for quite a while now) are Lord Of The Flies, Animal Farm and Charlotte's Web. I'll find them when I have time to get through Silas Marner and Antigone first. o.O
Oh and it goes without saying a large portion of my books are on nature and wildlife. ^^ But I enjoy the novel too.
