OOC: Sorry I haven't posted in the past few days- I've been very sick.
That said, to give Vetus something to do during the two's conversation, I have included a few verses of a song from Wicked. The lyrics are (c) to Stephen Schwartz; many thank to Stacy's Music Village for providing them.
BIC: Vetus's ears sweep back as Nadien not only ignores him, but then has a little tête-à-tête with a complete stranger, answering the strange Alimon's questions- but no, not his own.
What is this feeling? So sudden and new? wonders the Cave Lion, his tail thrasing from side to side. I felt it the moment I laid eyes on you. My pulse is rushing...my head is reeling...my face is flushing...
Vetus tosses his head from side to side. What is this feeling? Fervid as a flame, does it have a name?
The Panthera's eyes snap open with realization. Yes! Loathing! Unadulterated loathing! For your face, your voice, your clothing
Clothing? That didn't make sense; but Vetus was too far gone in his loathing to care.
Let's just say - I loathe it all. Ev'ry little trait, however small, makes my very flesh begin to crawl with simple utter loathing. There's a strange exhilaration in such total detestation. It's so pure and strong!
Though I do admit it came on fast, still I do believe that it can last. And I will be loathing, loathing you my whole life long!
WAIT- how can he think that? It isn't right to feel that way against someone he had volunteered to save. Shaking his head to clear it, Vetus peers down to see the interloper leave. Decidding it would be wiser to regain his cool before speaking with the sow, the Cave Lion springs away from branch to branch without a word.
---
"Yes, you can! Your kind are healers, right?" replies Koda.
"Uhm, well," nervously chuckles Turgor. "We are; I'm not the bets, but..."
He approaches Truttle and pushes him with his beak. "Has he done this before?"
---
"I dunno, corronk corronk," shurgs Loki. "All I know is that the Troodon asked for your help. Come on Savik," he says, flapping into the air.
---
Brother and sister peer down, waiting for the animals to leave so that they can eat. "Did you really mean that?" asks Balatro softly, hurt.
"Of course I did, you fool," hisses Belladonna. "You're such an idiot, you-"
At the sound of the snap, the two spin around and stand shoulder-to-shouler, heads lowered. "Who dares intrudes on the members of Tazer's pack?"
