OOC: I'm being Nanuk for this, and yes, I know that I haven't been on for a LONG while, due to circumstances.
BIC:
I could feel my anger rising as I saw Koda with someone else, other than mom. The bear was new, I could tell. He looked nervous, like he didn't belong anywhere.
"Hey, Nanuk!" Koda asked as he bounded towards me. "How ya doing?"
"Fine," I said, keeping my voice even. "Who's the bear over that came with you?"
"He's Kenai, my brother."
My heart stopped when he said those words. My own brother saying that.

You can be Kenai if you want to. I'm not picky, so you can be Kenai or an OC.

OOC: Okay, I'll do Kenai first. Later on I'll add an OC. Thanks Nerriu! BIC: Kenai nervously smiles as the new Bear approaches. The tawny Bear's nervousness increases as the new Bear's expression darkens at Kenai's status. "Er hi," Kenai says, giving what he hopes is a friendly smile. "Who are you?"

"Nanuk," he stated, ignoring Kenai's friendly gesture. "So, Koda said he was your brother. Am I correct?"

Ignorant as Kenai is in the almost sixth sense of Beasts, he knows that Nanuk doesn't like him. "Yeah I'm his big brother now. Why?"

"No reason. Just that Koda was saying that you were," Nanuk replied as he turned and stalked away.

Kenai watches them leave, head cocked. "What's wrong with him? Was it something I said?"

Nanuk watched Koda from a distance, not noticing his mate, Nimna, come closer.
"You still believe he's your brother, don't you?" She asked.
He nodded slightly, hearing her sigh.
"Well, Kenai WAS awfully cu-"
"Don't say it," He growled.

OOC: Just curious- does Koda know that Nanuk is his brother? Or has Koda never seen him before?

OOC: No, Koda doesn't know. He will eventually, though... He sorta knew Nanuk from the year before.

Koda shrugs. "Beats me. He wasn't like that last year. Well, okay, so I didn't really KNOW him that well last year but hey."
"Hey Kenai," says Koda suddenly. "What to hear about the time Bucky and I slid down the ice on the mountain?"

[glow=indigo,2,300]Nimna left Nanuk, looking for Kenai. She had to find him to explain this mess. She felt sorry for the both of them, one appointed to being a brother and the other believing he was a brother to Koda.
When she reached the river, she saw Kenai, looking unsure of himself.
"Hey, Kenai!"[/glow]
