OOC -- Feel free to join if you want all. Tis an open rp this one. If you want any other additional info on this rp (it's background, the characters, the plot, the direction...) don't be hesitant to ask me. I usually tend to go by a, build the storyline as you go along technique but of course there are certain things I do know for definite about it now.
BIC
Gently opening his right eye, Hugie scanned, half-heartedly, what was stirring up in the area this early (though it was already just approaching midday, this was early for him). Spotting nothing of much interest, he closed his eye again and lay there on the ground yawning and licking around the inside of his muzzle - a routine for his waking up. Groaning slightly, he slowly manages to clamber onto his hind-paws, after several attempts. Still feeling slightly hazy, with his vision semi-blurred, he stumbles awkwardly across to the pond. He takes a few licks of the cool, revitalising water, before he plunges his head in to stir up his senses. Head emerging from submersion, he shakes his head about, sending spray onto the ground where the dead, dried leaves lay. He looks around at this vast interior of a great forest, with magnificent trees jutted at irregular places along the pathways, proudly boasting their canopies beyond sight, almost as if for the first time. Then, his demanour almost implying a dismissive shrug without actually performing the gesture, he lowers himself down to ground level and yawns once more, slowly pondering over what to do with today.
" Ah " he thought to himself, yet again distracted as he so easily is by stray thoughts, " life is so great without a direction. Nothing to worry about but how to keep my tummy satisfied. I could go on like this until the end of days, just being happy living from day to day without worry or fear..... "
As Hugie babbles on with himself in his subconciousness, a shadowy figure kneels down to the ground, not more than a few hundred paces from the unwary bear. Tracing carefully the pawprint on the ground, just about noticeable through the uniqueness of the pattern of dislodged leaves, he nods knowingly and stealthily mingles with the darkness of shade.
" .... then and only then would they realise how important I am. Heh! " Snapping out of his dreamlike mood, where his imagination often takes over and projects fantastical scenarios into his head, almost like a self made inner-movie, he curses himself for wasting time on nothing again before chuckling it off. " Ah, I'm in a bit of a mood for some wandering again. Think I'll try that way this time. " Heading off in the direction, without the faintest clue where it leads to, he sings himself a song in his head.
Looming right over him, high, high up amongst the tallest branches, something watches Hugie's every movement. Satisfied that everything is perfect and nothing in place could disrupt the moment, the agile creature launches himself off the branch with a mighty leap. Landing noiselessly behind the trudging bear, he gives a precise blow to the head, leaving the bear to slump unknowingly to the ground.....
Barely able to suppress some large discomfort at the back of his head or co,pile a recollection of what had just occurred, Hugie regained consciousness to his environment. But of course only to find that all four paws of his were bound tightly together behind his back. Not even bothering to struggle, knowing it would be a wasteful task, he looks around for any signs of threat. Only after minutes of confirmed assurance does he attempt to break free by the only way possible, the only thing he really could do - to struggle (not so much as he thought it useful but more cos he was getting anxious in case he should get hungry and still be bound up so without alternative, resorted to this menial task). Unsurprisingly, no miracle happened and he found himself still unable to feed. Without much ideas, Hugie resorted to calling out for some assistance, somehow hoping that he got lucky for once in his life.

(OOC: Sounds like a good one. Excuse me for interupting at this point, butI'd like to ask a few questions about this RP.
What time period will it be set in?
What other environments will be included?
I'm guessing there might be anthro's, but I'd like to ask how far will the creativity go up? I'm all for it, but I'm hoping that it won't become too far-fetched and most importantly, not Sci-fi.
Will there be a strong involvement with humans? And the involvement of human characters?)

OOC --- Hmmm. Some nice questions there. I'll see what I can do to answer those.
The time period would be similar to that of the one in BB I guess. I don't really want to venture into the whole large town/city, firearms, vehicles, technology etc kinda setting.
As for the envrionments, I don't really know for sure right now as I do rps by a make it up as you go along technique. But what's possible is basically anything natural and I'm pretty sure there are gonna be some human settings too.
And yup. You guessed right on the anthros part. ^ ^ That's exactly what the mysterious character is (who is Silhouette if you haven't realised yet, my other character). However, Hugie you may have observed, isn't anthro. So there's a mix basically between animals, anthros and humans in this rp.
Oh don't worry. I never planned on making it all 'magicky' and fantastical as such. There's no sci-fi where a character can utilise teleportation or the likes. There's not gonna be as much far-fetchedness as when you're being possessed in your rp.
As for human characters, they will feature inevitably. But this is not essentially about humans so they will really only ever occupy secondary roles and won't be entirely pivotal. So yes, there will be humans and they will influence to an extent.
Hope that answers your questions. Feel free to ask more if anyone needs more clarification. ^_^

(OOC: Ah, thanks for filling me in! Oh, and does my possession in the LWK rp seem farfetched? XD)

OOC --- Heh! No probs. And no. Not really. Possession is just like a code name for temporary insanity.

OOC: It is interesting story Hugie2. Would you mind if I joined with my four wolverines when they were younger? I've been longing for a chance to run them outside of "Darkness."

OOC - Sure EP. Be my guest. Course you can join. I'm kinda gonna be pretty busy now for this last stretch up to the Xmas period so I'll have more time to work on this rp after all that's over. I'll add more stuff to it to enable other people to get involved but it might be awhile. Of course I'll still check back here when I've free time but I won't be adding more depth to it until I'm freer. For now though, you're more than welcome to join in.
Oh and btw. A side note. You can just call me Hugie. The '2' part was just cos the first account wouldn't work. And no, don't ask me to delete it cos it can't be. So everyone just ignore the Hugie account. >.<

Through woods scuttle four dark-furred beasts, small of body, true; but with such an infamous reputation that the Natives call them the Evil Ones: Wolverines.
The four have not yet seen enough years to be classified as elders; yet their youth guarantees bodies agile enough to swerve effortlessly and spring over barriers. Had a bird been soaring above, the sight of the four would have, without a doubt, justified further investigation: for, excluding the mating season, Wolverines despises each other’s company.
Upon closer observation, the bird would have discovered that the pack's population consists of two males and two females. The smaller of the males, Balatro by name, is last in line, his pale pelt etched with exhaustion. In front of him is the smaller female, Balatro's mud-brown sister, Belladonna. She turns and snaps at Balatro to not be such a kit, her fangs jarring with the thin, pale yellow stripes on her sides.
The larger female, dark of pelt and Ferrum by name, gallops with her hip joints even to her sister's shoulder blade. With complete disregard for her much younger siblings, she gazes at the Wolverine in front.
The leader is the Goliath of the Gulo gulos, dark chocolate of color with unusually golden blazes. Tazer by name, he charges forward, his heart blacker than his hardened eyes; through his veins runs blood unshared by the following three.
"HALT!!!" Tazer snarls suddenly, head thrusting upon as he stares down at the trapped Hugie.
One painful collision later; and Balatro untangles himself from his cursing sisters and stares down at the bruin. Eager to satisfy his leader's ambition to slaughter all Bears and Wolves, Balatro lunges forward, jaws agape.
Tazer drives his fangs into the younger male's shoulders, wringing a nerve-shattering yelp from the shocked Balatro. Shaking his pelt, Tazer slowly lopes to Hugie's side. "Hello, there," he says in his kindest voice.
