Heh, I've been away from the boards so long I don't know if this matters personally to anyone, but I feel pretty dang proud of myself.
I'm going to be receiving my Bachelor's of Science in Medicinal Chemistry on Sunday!
So long as I haven't MAJORLY flubbed any of my courses this semester. I think I may have a "D" in one or two but I'm sure that can be forgiven. Not like I was hoping to make the Dean's List or anything.
Whew, feel free to respond to this how you will. I just felt I needed to bring it up somewhere other than with my family and the friends I see daily in the real world.

Oh wow. Another science buff. Always nice to see more scientists around. =p
I'm actually about to move onto year 3 in college where I get to specialise in one area in science with medicinal chemistry being one of the choices. Not high on my list unfortunately. My number 1 choice is zoology. ^^
But hey! Congrats! It's no mean feat doing what you did. I know just how tough a science course is. Definitely not surprised it has taken up all your time, as it will inevitably do to me.... now I hope you get a good job out of this! ^^

That's awesome!! I don't really know what more to say, but I do know that a Bachelor of Science is by no means easy. So congratulations on it!! ;D

Congrats to you too Siman! Well, I've got final word back that the one class I passed the one class I was really worried about, so my Bachelors is as good as in the mail. Now my only problem is trying to find either: 1. A grad school that will take me on with a GPA of 2.97 rather than a 3.0 or 2. A higher paying job than working as a pharmacy clerk. Either way, I'm probably gonna be living my mom for a bit longer . Oh well, gotta walk before you can run, right?

Pity you don't live here in Ireland. With a degree in that, you could easily get a job working night shifts in a pharmaceutical company. Means less hours a day, more day offs and double pay. You'd easily earn at least €30 an hour starting off. Got friends planning to do a few years of that to save up a tonne of money and then go for a round the world trip for a year with it. =3
But yeah. Good luck to you with all that! ^^
