I thought for a while about this character, but I'm a little shy about joining the rpg boards because everyone has already written so much. It may take me a while so please bear with me while I catch up. Anyway, here's my character.
Name: Kitsu (from the name of a Japanese fox spirit, Kitsune)
Species: red fox
Gender: Male
Appearance: average height and weight for a young fox just starting life on his own. Has brownish-red fur, with black on legs from the knees down and white on belly, muzzle and tip of tail.
Personality: Shy around new people and feels bad if others feel that they have to go out of their way to help him. once he gets to know someone though he does his best to be there for them. Often tries to make friends where ever he goes since he doubts his ability to survive on his own.
Origin: Even as a kit Kitsu was painfully shy, and his brother Zorro did his best to help him. As shy and quiet as Kitsu was, his brother was adventurous and outgoing and there were always adventure to be had living near the point where the lights touch the Earth. One day though, while waiting for their parents to come back with food, Zorro and Kitsu went exploring a bit farther from the den then they usually did and disaster struck. There was a flash of light from the mountain and something fell from the top, triggering a rock slide. Kitsu escaped, but Zorro wasn't so lucky. Without Zorro around Kitsu became even more withdrawn and his parents constantly fussing over him (since he was now an only kit) didn't help. As the next spring approaches, Kitsu is now considered an adult fox who, despite his doubts, is starting life on his own.
