"Hey those look cool!" Lylo calls, seeing some of the greens Miko's found off on the side of the river and rushed over to try and push in on his brother's find and borrow or beg or even all out steal some it for himself.
Lilik shakes her head, not really interested in that so much as the newcomer. A part of her says that talking or even showing she's noticed him might just make the new cub feel crowded but...well they did make friends with Dash and look how well he's getting along, Lilik thinks glancing back to him and Koda.
She walks up, hesitantly though, "Y-yeah, and the bears around here are letting mammoths like us hang around, so they're not the type who are gonna be mean or anything I'm thinking" she quietly adds, hoping to help Kenia in coaxing the cub out.

Koda is just about to respond to Dash when Kenai calls out, starting him slightly. He looks over at Kenai and, following his gaze, spots...another cub!
"Heya!" He jumps on top of Kenai's back and places his paws on Kenai's head in order to get higher up. "Why're you all the way up there? You can come down here!" Koda gives the newcomer a warm, inviting smile. "There's plenty of room; Kenai's fat head isn't taking up that much space!" He giggles.

A call of acceptance? The cub stopped in his tracks and looked over his shoulder. Encouraging him to join them? He's not sure about that. They do seem friendly, considering he's with mammoths and two cubs. He returns to the ledge to looks back down on them. They do seem friendly enough, especially the cub standing on the big bear's back. His stomach complains for food again, and he couldn't help but clutch his stomach a bit.
Cautiously he made his way down to the waters below, closer and closer to the group. He tried to be brave, after all he had every right to be here at the river too. He can't let anyone bully him away from the river if it comes down to it.
"Hello..." He manages to speak out, a shy but rather deep voice emitting from his lips. "Is there any Salmon here? I'm very hungry..."

Kenai grunts and recoils just slightly when Koda hops on top of him again. He's getting used to being the cub's personal jungle gym, but it still takes him by surprise at times. He rolls his eyes a little at the fat head remark. "Ha ha."
Seeing that their coaxing seems to have worked, Kenai offers the approaching cub an encouraging smile. How strange that after only two days, he should be welcoming someone else to the salmon run. In answer to the boy's question, he grins a little. "There'd better be, or I'm going to wonder why we spent all morning climbing down a mountain just to get back here."

Dash sighed a bit as Koda raced off to meet the new cub. Dash didn’t really want to be rude or anything. But, Dash didn’t really want Koda to get suspicious about the way he was acting and ask him why. What would Koda have thought if he had realized that he couldn’t catch fish? The way he figured it Koda would think he was the most stupidest bear cub ever and won’t wanna play with him. Dash didn’t want that, he would spend his whole life keeping this a secret just for this not to happen in fact.
Dash smiled over at the new cub he had seen this bear cub before but was just to shy and afraid to actually say anything to him. Dash had always been deathly afraid of talking to just about anyone. New Cubs, New Bears, new animals, etc.etc.etc. . I guess it was hard for Dash to fully talk to newcomers because back where he was from newcomers hated Dash. For one reason no matter how nice he was he would always tend to say the wrong thing by mistake and end up chasing the other person away.
Or make the other person feel really awkward. Dash mostly kept to himself. It wasn’t that Dash was a bad kid or anything. It was just when you get let down as much as Dash by almost everyone you know it is really hard to trust anyone , at least it was to Dash.
But, if this other cub could come over and introduce himself who seemed less shy then Dash. Then Dash could say hello back. Dash sighed telling himself to start a conversation with this new cub. If this new cub could do it then so could he.
“Uhhhhhhhhh Hi” Dash said shyly trying not to sound like a timid little cub but unfortunately that’s just the way he sounded. Like a scared little cub that was afraid of his own shadow. “My name’s Dash. And that cub over there is Koda and that’s Kenai. What’s your name kid? You are more then welcome to have some salmon around here. After all this is the SALMON run so I think there’s enough salmon for you and everyone else to get their fill” Dash said trying to shake away his nervousness but instead of shaking it away it was becoming more visibile. “ You are more then welcome to join with us. After all I don’t eat that much fish” Dash said with a nervous little laugh.
“Why the heck did you have to say that?” Dash’s head screams at him. “Could you make it any more obvious that you can’t fish?” It screamed again.

"Lylo! that's mine!" the cry emitted out sounds just a moment before Lylo himself rushed by holding an unusually thick and healthy looking section of greens, something apparently good enough to the herbivores to cause the sibling bickering.
At Lili's cry, Lylo just smirked back an almost challenge. the female had grown up with brothers though, even if it was only one who gave her any kind of headaceh, Miko was more a hero, either way she could take care of herself with boys, or atleast one annoying twin brother!
"Thats...not nice!" Lilik cries, tackling Lylo to the river bottom below. She'd just riped the greens from her now squished brother's grasp when she notices that the newcomer she spotted before his closer down now. "Oh hey" she says, "want some...oh of course you don't" she realizes right as she offers some of the greens, "Um...well then hi again, nice to see you at a closer view" Lilik grins.
"Can you get up now!" Lylo frowns. "No, you deserve to be punished" came his sister's response. A bit embarrassed at the scene his siblings are causing Miko walks over, saying one gentle word of reprimand. "Lilik...".
"Yes sir, sorry" Lilik instantly steps aside with a smile and lets her twin up.

Koda...Kenai...Dash...His name?
The bear cub blinked a bit and arched his eyebrow at Dash's comments. Heh, amusing. But to see these bears so close to mammoths, it's a little strange, like nothing he's seen before. The young bear looked down at the river, trying to spot for any Salmon. He spots none however, most likely from their splashes earlier and the current shenanigans between the mammoth siblings. His ears lower, he hasn't eaten a thing for three days, and he was very hungry. A moose sounded good right about now, but until he's bigger he'll have to satisfy his hunger with Salmon.
His fiery-red eyes moved up to the mammoths (Who have just greeted the young bear), brown hides of Kenai and Koda and back to the black fur of Dash. It seems from the gaze they have on the cub they're expecting for him to answer Dash's question. His name...
Slightly turning his head to the side (His shoulder facing them) he lowers his eyes to the ground where the water meets it, clearing his throat before processing. "Ken'ichi."

"Well Ken'ichi, it's nice to meet ya! I'm Koda, like Dash said and this is Kenai, my big brother!" He grins and points down to Kenai.
"Y'know, you're the second new bear cub I've met here at the Salmon Run this year? It's really exciting, I can't wait to hear all of your stories! So how did you get here?" Koda says all of this really fast, beaming at the new cub.
He relaxes on Kenai, stretching out as if he's a bed of soft leaves and resting his small head on top of his big brother's.

OOC: Hey Ken'ichi, I'm curious: since you said some things are different about your character's backstory, does he still have his scar? Kenai smiles vaguely at the mammoths' antics, but his attention is mostly focused on the new cub. He notices Ken'ichi's glance down the river, which reminds him just how hungry he is -- keeping up with all of these kids only distracted him from it for a little while. They'll have to eat soon...which means they'll have to fish soon, and Kenai's not looking forward to that.
Not wanting to confuse the kid after Koda's greeting, Kenai keeps his brief. "Welcome to the run, Ken'ichi. Don't worry, I'm new here too."

((Of course! He wouldn't be Ken'ichi without it ;D))
They're friendly enough, but you never know when you must be wary from this kind of behavior from strangers. It could be nothing more than a mask. You cannot blame the bear for his behavior, he's always cautious around others and has learn to trust no one. He can only trust himself for survival, no one else can ensure his safety but himself.
"Thanks." Ken'ichi replies to Kenai's welcome to the Salmon Run, his face still slightly turned away from the other bears. Keeping his balance on three paws he rubbed his shoulder with one paw, his eyes scanning the place for any other bears who try to come close. You never know when a hungry adult would try to chase him off from a potential feeding spot. He's never been to the Salmon Run before, so he wouldn't know that this place is an actual paradise where bears fish and coexist in harmony.
"I...Came here alone." The cub replies to Koda's question, closing his eyes with a small sigh. "That's how I travel and how I live. Always has been, always will."

Dash smiles and sits next to Kenai as he hears what Koda said. This other beat cub seemed interesting enough. And if his adventures in finding the Salmon Run was anything like his own adventures. He was sure that this cub had a lot of adventures. “Yeah Ken’ichi we’d love to hear your stories” Dash said sitting next to Kenai in anticipation.
What Dash hadn’t realized is that just from that small bit of detail he saw that he had more in common with Ken’ichi then he had ever thought. “What? You’re a loner too? Dude, My whole life has been about me doing stuff on my own. My parents even when they were around they never really cared about me. So mostly I had to learn everything by myself and be by myself. I traveled here when my parents were killed by Hunters. So I know what it’s like to be like that.” Dash said feeling like he can really relate to this cub all ready.

"Interesting." Ken'ichi replied nonchalantly to Dash's statement. It's not surprising to him that other cubs are much like his position. Not always in the exact situation, but close. Needless to say, the young bear isn't impressed or shows an interest of the common grounds with this cub. If the fact that his shoulder is still facing them and his eyes are elsewhere aren't clue enough.
"I heard about this place, and it's my first time here." Ken'ichi added as the wind picked up a bit, his stomach pleading for anything edible to satisfy it. "I only came to fill my belly and move on. But as far as I can see, with so many bears here I don't think I'll be seeing much food today."

Koda cocks his head. "What makes you say that? There's plenty of fish here in the salmon run – I mean, with Kenai's stomach, there'd better be or else we'd all go hungry!" He giggles again, grinning widely.
"You shoulda heard him coming down the mountain! His stomach was growling so loud, I'd be surprised if it didn't scare away the biggest baddest predator! And, boy, was he complaining! It was until those two mammoths showed up that we finally had some peace and quiet!" Still grinning, he tells this story in his usual fast paced way, completely oblivious to how embarrassing it may be for a particular someone.
(By the way, Epesi, if you ever want to interrupt or muffle me like halfway through a speech or when I'm talking if it suits Kenai's character at the time, feel free to from now on ^.^)

(Thanks, I'll remember that. X3) For now, Kenai keeps his mouth shut while Koda has a little fun at his expense; it's embarrassing, but nothing he can really hope to keep secret. More importantly, he hasn't come up with a good coverup or comeback yet. He doesn't have to like it, however, as shown by his scowl. The part about the mammoths seems like a good stopping point -- and since Koda doesn't often seem aware of stopping points, Kenai decides to help with a terse, "Okay, Koda."
He looks at Ken'ichi curiously; Dash isn't the only one who feels he might share some common ground with him. Kenai can't tell at this point whether they actually do have anything in common, but at least on the surface, the cub reminds him of himself. Kenai isn't exactly an expert on others' feelings, but if this small resemblance is any indication of the truth, this cub must hide great pain.
Then again, it doesn't take great insight to guess that a cub his age who travels alone hasn't had the happiest of lives.
"Koda's right," he says, shooting a small glare at his little brother. "Er, about the salmon, I mean. There's plenty for everyone here. You can stay as long as you like...at least, until the fishing season ends, I guess."

Dash could kinda tell Keni'ichi either was paying attention to him or was basically bored out of his mind. Dash was only trying to make conversation so that he would feel more welcome with this group of bears.
Dash was almost sure that Ken'ichi didn't mean anything by it. But, Dash was visiably hurt and offended by his actions. It didn't really take much to hurt or offend him though. Dash often got his feelings and emotions hurt even when they really weren't even meant to be hurtful comments. But Dash tried to hide it the best way that he possibly could.
