Well well, look what surprise I realize this morning. Kung Fu Panda, Dreamwork's CGI movie who became a huge hit, will not only get a series of movies made, but a television series as well. news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/8051520.stm26 episodes has been planned for a 2010 release on Nickelodeon. They did the same with the Penguins of Madagascar, but I was still surprised to hear that a TV series of everyone's favorite Kung Fu fighting Panda is coming soon. I gotta say, I'm excited! I'll be keeping an eye out for this one.

This is indeed a pleasant surprise! I remember the night the family and I watched Kung-Fu Panda for the first time. And, wow, did we laugh like we haven't before, or in a long time! I enjoyed the movie much more then I though I would! Now I'm excitedly awaiting the release of the animated series, thanks for the news Ken'ichi! God Bless! ^_^

I think that he will not release. I'ts the same to: madagascar, brother bear and many others films. All had said that it would have series But they did make a series of Madagascar, like Ken'ichi said in the first post. The Penguins of Madagascar is a spinoff of the movies focusing on, obviously, the penguins. It currently airs on Nickelodeon, and I've seen it. The Brother Bear series was only a rumor; there was never any official statement from Disney. It is possible that it was in development and then canceled, but personally I don't believe it ever existed in any form. The only source that I remember even mentioning it was the website of the high school that Jeremy Suarez attended, and the person who wrote it could have easily been confused. The article linked is from the BBC and says that Nickelodeon has announced this series, so I think it's safe to say that the Kung Fu Panda series is a definite reality.

The one thing I am worried about is the voice acting. I mean do you think that they'd all come back for the TV Series? Call me old fashioned but I like it when the cartoon has the same voice actors as the movie. But, other then that I'm looking forward to it.
