Thanks for sharing!
We're aware of the existence of these Brother Bear comics. There are a couple or so that used to float around here, but you can find them on Truttle's DeviantART page, as well as another one on former member Mohegan's DeviantART page (Though in a different language). A fourth story floats around on DeviantART, though that one's in Spanish. As far as I know that's all we've been able to find.
As much as I would like to snag that comic, I'm unfamiliar with that site, not sure how reliable it is (And if they mail to my home) and it's an auction, no doubt the price would go up on last-minute biddings by fans.
It would be grand to find all published comics and put them all together to share, but I imagine that'd take some hunting around...Which reminds me, I should take a closer look at my local comic book store to see if I'm lucky.

well, note that the collection only have 6 stories out of the recorded 14 (not counting repetitive ones on the site). So the rest of the stories will take some hunting in numerous different magazines (fortunately, inducks provided info including on which magazine is the story published, so you just need to track down the specific editions).

Heh I have the ones from Disney Adventures, including the issue that dealt with Brother Bear. (Disney Adventures magazine has since been discontinued, sadly). I think Truttle also used to have some of the scans of some Brother Bear short stories from Disney's 365 Bedtime Stories. ^^

And also, what do you mean by "dealt with Brother Bear"? For the stories in the bedtime-story book, are they, like, the full story of the movie or side storylines? Mind providing some scans of the magazine? Or story description? Do you have the one titled "Go Fish"? Thx.

A Brother Bear comic is very cool though I have never seen one.

It’s been a while since I checked, but I think it’s the same ones Truttle has here: 0aaab0.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=discuss&action=display&thread=1230It’s the issue that covered Brother Bear, introduced the characters- promotion for the film, basicially. I’ll have to see if I can find my copy. ^^ The short stories are one-minute side stories, meant to be read to kids as bedtime stories.

Never knew that there's actually an issue covering exclusively BB contents... But it appears that the ones Truttle posted are scattered stores from different issues....there's gotta be more than just three stories for a BB-only issue..... And do you think you could briefly tell me what is the short story about? Or you never read them before? Thanks a lot. PS: this forum feels lonely.

Well...it's not quite a full issue, at least not like Disney Adventures had back in their prime. ^^' For their Lion King issue, they spend pretty much all of the issue talking about the film (there were more pages too). But Brother Bear it was a brief descpription of each character (including the minor ones; if memory serves, Igor is the foreign bear, Mabel is the old lady bear, and Bo and Nooki are the lover bears. The how-to-draw book gives the rams' names as Cliff and Roc), a two spread of some jokes from Rutt and Tuke, a one page do it yourself salmon run story, and I think just one comic. (It's still better than the later movies; if I recall right, Chicken Little then got only one page). I see that one of others is from the Disney comic collections (those were short comic reprints sold in stores). I don't remember them really advertising when Brother Bear II came out, besides a one page ad. ^^' Truttle has some more comics too: 0aaab0.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=discuss&action=display&thread=1458 It's been a while since I read them, just simple little stories with Kenai and Koda. ^^ Heh, I can't really talk since I've been a.w.o.l. with three years , but this board is quite a bit quieter these days. I came here in October 2004, a few months after the members had moved here from a currently abandoned board; it was more active then, already even then some of the members were slowing down. It's sad to have so few of the old members here, but there are still a few veterans hanging around, including veterans from the old board like Truttle and Ken'ichi. ^^ But hey, the more posts we make, the more active it can be. ^^ Plus with new memebers like you it helps keep this board alive.

But still, I feel that I'd cool down pretty quickly too if this board continues like this...
