As Midnight came to the tree, it seemed that breakfast was already up. The sight of it reminded the Bear that he hadn't eaten since very early the day before. His focus turned to the carcas, a little drool running from his mouth. "Woah.. nice kill!" he said to Truttle in a thankful tone. Not long after, Midnight had already torn off his share of meat and was devouring it...

Truttle quickly noticed the new bear's eagerness to come for the food. He could imagine that he'd be hungry, but disapproved of allowing him fair share of the food without further disclosure of who he was and why he wanted to join the group.
"The cub is right. I'm afraid just knowing your name won't make you eligible of our hospitality. If we're going to share our food and protection with you, then it's fair that you share your story with us."

I shrugged. "Fine by me. I'll just go catch myself some breakfast. Like you said, my business is none of yours." I walked back into the forest, grumbling at the rest of the group.
Lucky, breakfast was not far off. I managed to swipe a few berries from a nearby plant, which a rabbit had been hiding under. Needless to say, the rabbit;s life ended shortly that day and served to nourish me.
I walked back into the other's presence. "I'm ready when you are." I grinned, hoping there was some rabbit left in my teeth so that I might show off my quick kill.

Selena looked sideways at the deer that Truttle had brought for breakfast and was apparently disapproving of the lack of grace in how he got it. She smiled at the bear for the thought of sharing with the others and her. Selena moved to the meal and ate her fill.
After a few minutes Selena moved off and curled up in the shade, Content with a full stomach. She waited quietly for the others to finish their meal.

"Good. Everyone get their fill."
Being the one who had to run the meal down, he was especially hungry for it. He tore at it eagerly.

I gazed upon the crowd devouring the deer. A very gruesome sight indeed. Sighing, I climbed back up the tree I was on and closed my eyes. *Hopefully they'll be done soon so we can get moving." I sighed again, wishing that they would hurry up.

After Midnight finished consuming his share of meat, the Bear turned towards a rock to rest until the rest were finished. A slight belch escaping his mouth as he curled up against the boulder. As he rested, Midnight kept pondering about this new Denaik guy. What's his problem? Why couldn't he just tell Truttle a little bit about himself and have a share of the Deer? 'Ehh.. whatever' Midnight thought to himself, letting out a great sigh. There wasn't much point wondering about it. Whatever happens happens, and contemplating it won't prevent anything.

Having taken his fill of breakfast, Moaki stepped away from the deer with slight grunt of discomfort. His stomach was actually hurting a bit from over-eating, not exactly a sensation the pup was familiar with.
Settling down to digest, Moaki kept an eye on the others. He had a feeling that, after everyone else was done eating, the others were going to be looking to him for directions to the hunting grounds. He started going over the directions in his mind, making sure he remembered the way while waiting for the others.

Having stuffed himself as well, it had been a while since he'd had such a nice meal. He licked his lips and sat on his tail for a while before turning to face the pup.
"Okay, I think everyone has had their meal. Moaki, can you give us the direction so that we can start the journey?"

Still being awake, I open one eye and cock my ears so I can hear what's going on when I hear their leader say, "Okay, I think everyone has had their meal. Moaki, can you give us the direction so that we can start the journey?"
I'm now listening very intently so I can hear who's giving the directions, and where these bears are going.

OOC: Anyone else need/want to post something before we continue? I'll be posting Moaki's directions as close to midnight as the fourth becomes the fifth as possible.

OOC: Heh, almost forgot, silly me! Here we go. BIC: Moaki looked around as the other animals turned to him. The young cub fought down a growing, nervous lump rising in his throat before opening his muzzle to speak. “You guys remember the river where we first met, right? To get to the hunting grounds, we need to follow it upstream back to the lake where it started. The pack claimed a big territory on the far side of the lake, but since they moved on we shouldn’t have any trouble.” Moaki explained, before pausing to take a deep breath and continue. "Like I said, it's probably about a two days of walking." The path having been laid, Moaki took a few deep breaths, proud of himself for managing to remember.
