Oh, yes! I can hardly wait; I've been dying to see it since I saw the poster in my local theater a month or two ago. ;D I can't imagine what it will be like in 3D, but I'm excited to find out! I bet the stampede will be particularly impressive.

I really want to see it, but given my luck here in Puerto Rico it won't be available anywhere. But hey, maybe I'll get lucky and find a theater here that'll play it.

I'm more focus on thinking about getting the Bluray for it when it comes, but that's a month away after the 3D theater release.

Epesi; Ooo I hadn’t thought of that scene; it’ll be so neat. This will be the first 3D animated film (well, not counting the two at Disney World) I’ve ever seen, so I’m looking forward to it. Plus it was fun in IMAX. Ken’ichi: The link above actually lists theatres within a fifty-mile radius. ^^ I hope I you can get to see it; it looks like it’ll be fun. They've also updated the Disney website too: disney.go.com/lionking/tickets/?int_cmp=dcom_tlk_WDSHE_HP_hero1_meta1_get_tickets_ps__IntlNadine: Heh they do have a nice blu-ray planned for it. The DVD not so much...but yeah, the blu-ray looks interesting. ☺

I just got back from seeing it today and I gotta say that it was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!! I advise everyone to go see it in 3D! I can't imagine how many times I've seen the movie already and yet seeing it again today was like seeing it for the first time, that's how it felt. The 3D works so awesomely (As Nostalgia Critic once pointed out) with all the vibrant colors. The 3D even made everything seem more crisp, and more clear, you'll noticed things you would normally overlook before on your tv screen. Every detail just sucks you in like never before! Disney should totally make all their 2D films in 3D. Bring on Brother Bear 3D! ;D

I just got back from seeing it myself, and I was thinking the very same things; it really was like seeing it for the first time, or with new eyes. ;D It translated to 3D even better than I could have imagined. I didn't consciously realize how many impressive multiplane shots there were in this movie until now. Ah, some day I'm going to have to get a 3D-capable TV...it's a shame this is only playing in theaters for two weeks.
It would be wonderful to see Brother Bear get the same treatment; I wonder if they do plan to make this a regular thing.

I saw it in 3D too like everyone else did yesterday and it was nice. I love how colorful it look. It was like watching Bluray on the big screen! All though I don't know about Brother Bear being put into 3D also, but it doesn't sound half-bad for an idea. But I would give it another 17 to 18 years before they ever think about doing that.

I don't see why it should take that long, now that the technology is there.
Even if they made a point of waiting as long as they did for The Lion King, that would make it about nine years from now (seventeen years from the original theatrical release).

I think it might have been as sort of an experiment. To see if they could jump on the bandwagon and see what the result would be, good or bad, hence the 2 week only duration. It's usually about the money, so if the 3D thing does well, and grows bigger, then we're more than sure to see other incarnations of 3D Disney classics.

Wow Truttle! You really do make an outstanding point there! And ya know something? I think your totally right. Maybe that's why hence this is BEFORE the bluray release in October lol But sure would be nice to see the other Disney classics as you say to be put into 3D too, and not just on Brother Bear. Hmm...I think I'll be keeping my fingers, err...I mean....claws cross on this one XD
