Okay, if/when the original RP's start up again I'm gonna make sure I have a full roster ready to go in. Here's the last character I've come up with since stepping away from the boards.
Name: Ryu
Species: Dragon
Gender: Male
Appearance: The typical dragon you’d read about in stories of knights and King Arthur (basic western style), a large reptile with leathery, bat like wings, a long neck, horns, and covered in scales that could turn bullets (if they were appropriate for this time period). His scales are dark blue all over his body, getting darker (almost black) on his stomach and chest.
Personality: Curious and inquisitive, always eager to learn everything he can about anything/where/who he sees/visits/meets. Doesn’t always put his safety first though, will explore and ask questions before realizing he’s in danger.
Origin: Ryu had been told by his parents that he and they were the last dragons in existence, and that, once he was gone, the only place these proud creatures would be seen was in the stories of men. Ryu, however, refused to accept that possibility, feeling that if he and his parents had lasted this long then others must have as well.
Eventually, Ryu’s time came to take off on his own. He now searches the world, looking for others like him, and his search has now brought him to the forests and glaciers of the Pacific North-West…
Powers and Skills:
Flight: With his large, leathery wings, Ryu is able to fly. He can carry passengers (up to roughly one ton worth thanks to his size).
Firebreath: Ryu can breathe fire, but only does so as a last resort. If he can drive away attackers or capture prey by other means, he will.
Transformation: Ryu has the magical power to shapeshift into any other animal he wants. There are limitations though: He’ll retain his regular coloring (a blue and black animal has a tendency to stand out), he can’t fly unless the animal he turns into can, and if he turns into something with wings then he’ll still have his dragon wings instead of feathery or insect like ones. He can still breath fire no matter what he’s disguised as, and he can change back to normal anytime he wants. (A side note, he can’t change into a human, not that I think that would matter on this forum).
Well, here you guys go. I don’t think I’ve seen a dragon on this forum yet (What do I know, I’ve been gone for two years
). Anyway, I thought I’d try my hand at offering one.
With three RP characters now, maybe I ought to just start my own RP thread. Hmm….
P.S. He seems a touch overpowered to me, what do you guys think?
