I think this topic was on the other boards before we moved here, but last night I just had a Brother Bear dream! Sort of.
The only thing that was Brother Bear was that I had a Kenai Fursuit! I was walking around my university campus I think, but I was wearing the Kenai Fursuit! It was like Disneyland or something, 'cause people kept wanting to get their pictures with me! haha! Oy, I have wierd dreams!

Just wait until you can start controlling your dreams. I've found that with practice, I can make dreams whatever I want, but I have gotten out of practice. When that happened, I am fully aware I am dreaming, and I can actually speak to anyone or anything I choose, even cartoons.

That's cool Kadzait, dreaming about going around school in a Kenai fursuit, lol. I almost never get BB dreams, and when I do get one it gets totally messed up by something weird, lol. So basically, I don't think I have the slightest controls over my dreams. What kinds of practice can you do to start controlling your dreams, gsdvip?

Train yourself each day to ask "Am I dreaming now" and really think about it. If you keep asking yourself through the day, look around and see if you are. You might want to write a C or something on your hand to remind you to ask yourself if you are dreaming. The C stands for Consciousness.
If you do this enough, at night when you are dreaming, you will ask yourself in your dream "Am I dreaming?" It will seem very real in your dream, so you may think you are not when you really are. After much practice, you will be able to "Wake up" in your dreams.
I am still learning this process myself.

Hm...write a C on my hand and keep asking myself "Am I dreaming now" in the day, and when I'm really dreaming I'll be able to control the dream? Something like that, right?

You don't have to write a C on your hand. Just do something that will remind you to ask yourself that question. I did that to help me remember. It's a little C on the back of my thumb, and every time I saw it, that would remind me to ask myself. However I've gotten out of practice.
It's all about repetition. If you do something in your life over and over again, it will happen in your dreams. If you can remember to question where you are, dream or life, then you will have more control.

Oh OK, so if I do that I'll be able to control on what I dream? Or do I have to do what I want to dream about in real life over and over for me to dream it?

All you need is to realize you are dreaming.
Do a search on the web for "Lucid Dreaming"
There are ways to train yourself for that.
No, you don't do in life what you will be dreaming. You do something that will "trigger" your memory, and say "Oh yes, I'm dreaming now. Ok, so I'll fly around and do such and such, and maybe even learn something from Tanana over there."
At first, it will probably be your own mind making you see those things. The subconscious is very powerful. Once you get through that, you will learn and see things more as they really are. Yes, there is more to dreams than just what you think. But you'll learn that as you progress.
So for now, just train yourself by asking "am I dreaming now" about every few hours.

OK, thanks a lot for your help. I was pretty tired of dreaming random things like flying above the sky then suddenly forget how to fly and I get frustrated trying to fly back up. Also sick of dreaming disturbing parodies. So yeah, I'll try these and see what route it takes me. Thanks in advance!

I've noticed that if I think about something like any kind of scenario before falling asleep, I usaully start off my dreams from what I was thinking. Kind of like if I'm watching Brother Bear and I fall asleep in the middle, I can usually start a dream about it. But as for trying to control my dream while I'm sleeping, It tends to become difficult. If I concentrate too hard I begin to regain conciousness and wake up. How would you concentrate enough to control your dreams without focusing too hard and waking up?

Well, I've read in a site that in order to control your dreams, all you have to do is to get comfortable in your bed, close your eyes and relax, watch at whatever you see behind your eyelids, but don't focus or anything. Then, say in your mind that you will become lucidified(or something like that) and breath in a way and stuff. Then you feel your body going under some side-effects and when you lose consciousness, you have to realize your dreaming and then you have control of your dreams. Those types of dreams that you know that you're dreaming and can control what your doing and do anything at will, it's called a Lucid Dream. OK, so that explanation didn't helped at all, but you can learn tons of Lucid Dreams and how to get them by going to this site: www.dreamviews.comI'm currently studying these methods and trying them out at night, maybe I'll get lucky and be able to dream about BB at will. Heheh, try it out.

Wow, thanks for that link. I really want to get back into practice. yes, it does require good dream recall, so you remember what you dreamed when you wake up. There are a lot of things to learn, and by remembering them, it makes the whole experience even more real.

No big, all I needed to do is to make a search for Lucid Dreams. It's pretty helpful that site, and I almost went lucid last night if it wasn't for these babys playing in the middle of the night and dogs barking here and there all night!
