Hehe, kind of an odd thing to ask,but I was just curious. How old do you think the main characters are? Based on,well, everything about them,voice,personality... Here's my opinion: Kenai: 18-21 Koda: 9-11 Rutt: 14 (at the youngest) -17 Tuke: 16-18 Denahi (sp?) : 19-23 Sitka: 21-24 Tanana :65 and up,lol

Kenai: 16. It was light during that time, so I think he was born in the spring/summer months, since much of Alaska goes dark 6 months out of the year. The totem ceremony would probably happen on his birthday, and being daylight, it was the summer months.
Brown bears are full grown at 8-10 years, and Kenai looks about 1/2 - 3/4 full grown. This would make him half way between 14 and 18, or 16.
Bears live about 15-20 years in the wild, and Koda looks about 2 years old in bear years, which makes him about 7 in human years.

But of course. I got my degree in Physics from the University of Texas San Antonio. I also have a minor in math. I've been programming computers for about 15+ years, so I know that will come in handy when I need to start programming the graphics for my movie.
I'll try to get to work on some fan art for BB, to show my talent. I'll encorporate some 3D as well.

Wow, that's great! I'm studying at University of British Columbia... studying Computer Science... Right now I'm stuck with Direct3D... hopefully next year I'll be able to do something more interesting...

If you get the chance, learn OpenGL. I really need to brush up on that myself. That is an open source library that gives you the ability to program the video card directly, and is faster than other methods.
There are many books on that. I would have to learn C very well to use it, but I have done it a bit.

Heh, I'm a intermediate C programmer... right now I'm just doing who bunch of server software for my company... I'm trying to right a program into a 89C52 controller so when I press the button on the circuit board (connected to serial port), it sends a reboot signal (15) to the OS so it reboots safely without the use of a keyboard... Anyways, I have NO idea why I put this up here... but, ah well, and yes, I would like to learn OpenGL in my forth year...

My age guesses are based soley on their voices and personalities. I do know that Rutt and Tuke would be much older than I said. I do stand by my theory that Rutt is indeed a "teenager" because the amount of tines and the size of the palms are like that of a 2 year old moose.I know its just a movie, but you can still see that Rutt must've had some damage done to his right pedicle as it was growing in,since one tine points downward, while the same tine on the left antler points upward. Tuke obviously has much more room in the palms, and a lot more tines. Tuke's bell or dewlap,is also longer and shaggier.

Spectrum, the terms go for pretty much all members of the deer family. Hehe, sorry,I tend to get carried away! Tines are the spikes that come off the antlers. Palms are the large flatish part of the antler that the tines come out of.Pedicles are the long boney piece of antler that grow out and evetually the palms form. Thats the only part thats left of Rutt's antler after it gets cracked off in the end. oops,um,sorry for rambling on...

Yep, I've got a lot to learn about biology. Luckily, it's not my focus now so I can spend my time on other things.

I am really wondering if they hired moose experts when they animated Tuke and Rutt. Or did they guess on how an antler would break?
