I thought this would make an interesting topic. I'll start with how I found my way here ;D. It started back in June of 2007, I had recently watched the sequel and decided to look for brother bear web pages. I found several: the Rutt and Tuke page by Masika, The Brother Bear online Archives by Niskiki, and Keni'ichi's Life woth Koda roleplay. I also found Spectrum's fan fiction about Denahi and Kia's Fan videos on youtube. I also began to search for fan art to look at too. I kept this up well into the fall and eventually heard about deviant art at my college and searched it too. Eventually around the end of October I stumbled on Awaken As A Bear. I joined and made my first post and the rest is history. It's actually pretty funny that I found so much many of the board member's creations, but didn't recognize them right away. Yeah, I had plenty of moments. Well that's my long story of how I found the AAAB. What's yours ?

Well to tell the truth I've been present since the board was created. I watched it grow and become more popular with Brother Bear fans, it was a pretty long history and experience. It all started from another board called Brother Bear, probably one of the first (If not THE first) Brother Bear forums out there. Since the admins of the boards haven't come back to the boards for a good while we all moved to this board and then everything went on from there. It's been a long road, and it just keeps going and going.

After I saw the movie, I did some checking around on Gamefaqs.com about the Brother Bear video game. Wasn't very popular, but what movie based game is?
Anywho, the boards at Gamefaqs had only one section for this game, and this site kept coming up so I eventually decided to come here after a few months of lurking around them.
Then I wound up stepping away for about two years and I was surprised when I found this site still in my favorites list. I had finally bought Brother Bear on DVD for myself, so I decided I'd start trying to post here again.

(I could have sworn there was a topic like this...) When watching BB AMVs on youtube, I stumbled across one that was dedicated to Awaken As A Bear message boards. So I googled it, clicked the first link I saw and loved what I saw. So here I am! Now that AMV is in my favourites on youtube for bringing me here. Oh, and I believe it was made by Spectrum too. =3

I don't actually remember exactly how I came across AAAB. I just remember renting BB, liking it so much that I watched it multiple times on the one rental, then after giving it back I searched online for stuff on it. Clicked links to links to links and eventually found myself on this wonderful forum. ^^

Lemme see...I bought the movie on itunes, then wound up liking it so much I bought the sequel to it, and throughout the week I was watching both movies at least once a day. I looked up Brother Bear Fanfiction, which led me to Brother Bear roleplaying, which led me to Life with Koda, which led me to here ^_^

Well, I don't quite remember what I was looking for that night but.... I do remember, one late night, after everyone had went to bed, I was up late and, being so emotionally free and changed from God's delivering me after watching it, I was scouring the internet for anything Brother Bear. In the google search, I found a link reading: "Awaken as a bear - Brother Bear's First impression." I clicked it, seeing an Awesome fourm, and instantly my heart jumped. I saw and read many member's post, all warming my heart. When I ran across a specific post, Truttle's, I was amazed. I took in a deep breath of confidence, and at 1:00 in the morning, decided to write my story, then and there. The next day, I joined, posted my story first, then my introduction, and have loved it ever since. God leading me here is and was such an Awesome time, I'll never forget it! (And I still have that story, tucked away in a bin under my bed!) ^_^ - Little preacher man.

It's quite simple, really: Dilemma had showed me the site, and I thought of how interesting it all looked, so I decided to sign up for it.
