When watching BB AMVs on youtube, I stumbled across one that was dedicated to Awaken As A Bear message boards. So I googled it, clicked the first link I saw and loved what I saw. So here I am! Oh, and I believe it was made by Spectrum too. =3 I'm sure I saw that same video - and that's how I came to know about the boards. Then I just googled it - and here I was. ^^

Haha, Google searches with 'keywords', it can't answer questions for you!

Haha, Google searches with 'keywords', it can't answer questions for you! And that's my keyword.. After all, it worked.. It's just like you're looking for any tip on YouTube! about cooking something, making something, etc etc.. And you'll type " How to? "Like me, I have ever looked for the way how to spin a basketball upon finger.. Simply i just typed " How to spin a basketball upon your finger? " and it worked..

That's just because of the filters they use. If they'd look for your whole sentence, you would end up with 0 results. And a lot of online tutorials are called How To's, so that explains it. If you include words like "a" and "upon" and "your", you'd oftenly end up with completely different search results. Search for words that specifically concern what you're looking for. Like: "how to spin basketball". Like I said: Google won't answer your questions. It doesn't read your sentence, it just looks around for the keywords you typed in the search bar. This also explains why some people are a lot more efficient with Google searches. If you need something, they can find it for you, while you maybe spent days trying to look for it.

Hmm...I honestly do not remember how I ever came across to finding this forum. It was so long ago, it left my mind out haha! XP Well let's see...from what I remember, it was in the mid summer of 2005, around one month before my 16 birthday. I was looking for ways to escape my reality because in high school, everyone was treating me like dirt because of my BB obsessed back then. And I think someone must of link me to this site because I was in a part of a few BB forums before they died out. Now that I think about it; I think I must of found AAAB in 2004 when it was still new, but because I didn't have an email address yet, I joined in about a year later after that. And I'm glad I got one thanks to my mom who help me set it up 6 years ago, otherwise I wouldn't be like I am now. Sure I left about once or twice, but I wouldn't forget this very spot where I made new friendship and found new brothers and sisters I could bond with!

I just joined. Searched some clips from the film at youtube as it was definitly one, if not the best movie experience I've had.
And to this day this movie still stands clear in my mind. It gave me hope to once get an adventurous life. It's amazing when you can identify your behavior with the characters.
I still feel like the Kenai in the start of the movie. He wants to like Kodo and be more free-minded like him. But it just takes a long time for him to actually break out and release his heart.
I was 11 back when I watched this, and it may seem childish to still love this story. But it just brings you something that reality doesn't.

Well to tell the truth I've been present since the board was created. I watched it grow and become more popular with Brother Bear fans, it was a pretty long history and experience. It all started from another board called Brother Bear, probably one of the first (If not THE first) Brother Bear forums out there. Since the admins of the boards haven't come back to the boards for a good while we all moved to this board and then everything went on from there. It's been a long road, and it just keeps going and going. My story of getting here is the EXACT same as Kenichi
