My first pic of Brasil, and with a step by step process, in case anyone was curious. ^^;

Step 1: I open up Microsoft Paint. Yeah that simple program. Gotta love it! Anyway, I use my trusty mouse (yes all my computer drawn pictures were drawn with the mouse, not by some tablet) and draw the body using
the brush set to the smallest square.
Step 2: I switch to the "fill with color" icon, and color the body orange, the eyes red, the claws black, and the feathers a slightly darker shade of orange. I switch to pencil and draw in the white stripes' outlines, and the faint scar. I switch back and fill the colors in, and change a couple feathers to a slightly darker shade of white.
Step 3: I close down Microsoft Paint and open up PhotoPaint 8.0. I open up the picture, and select custom airbrush. I make sure that the transperancy is set to 90%, and select black as my color. I start shading the areas I want, creating quick strokes so I don't end up with too many completely black areas.
Step 4: I scroll down in the effects area and select the render area, and then select lighting effects. I pick the color I want, and how the light should shine down.
Step 5: I select the custom airbrush again, at 90%, but this time select white, and apply lighter colored areas where desired. I also add in the lense flare effect in the eyes.
Step 6: I then go to effects once again, but this time select blur, and then directional smooth. I select directional smooth twice. Then I go to image, and then resample. I click on the drop-down thing next to width, and select points. I type in the number I want in width, and resize the image.
There ya go. Step-by-step. ^^
