OOC: I've decided to re-write this... (I KNOW I've been neglecting this site... but for family matters)
Ch. 1
She wandered through the forest, not knowing where she was headed. Naluna didn't mind; she still had plenty of time before the salmon run. Before the whispers, the stares, the pain that the other bears caused... She shook her head to clear the thoughts. She shouldn't have cared, but she just did. Ever since the hunters had killed her mother before she could learn to speak, she could only understand the other bears.
As she still wandered, a familiar scent wafted to her... of caribou and humans. She stopped and stared at the young boy yelling something unfamiliar to the two other hunters. She stepped away imedietly, hoping that they didn't notice her. They didn't. She let out a small woosh of air and kept at a wary distance in the trees, so she wouldn't be noticed.
The hunters probably were going to kill a few of the bears, using their furs to wear. That made no sense to her; didn't they have grow fur themselves?
She allowed her thoughts and self to wander aimlessly before she curled up and fell asleep.

[glow=indigo,2,300]Me: I'm having the story told in something like bear-view, like the throwing stick= spear. Ch. 3 (Next Morning)
Naluna awoke, vexed to see the bear hollering his head off.
"No! NO! AUGGGGHH!!"
"Kenai! Calm down!" An old woman commanded, trying to calm him down.
Naluna was startled to see the human there. Didn't all humans hunt bears? She looked at the old woman again, who'd just thrown a piece of heavy fur at Kenai. Naluna wanted to attack the woman right then and there, but something was holding her back.
As slowly as she could, she crept backwards, trying not to make a sound at all. But, as luck wasn't there, she stepped on a twig, causing it to snap. Kenai looked at her for a moment, but turned his attention back to the woman. But she wasn't there.
Naluna tried to creep away, but the bear called out to her.
"Uh, could you tell me where the lights touch the earth?"
He was starting towards her now, looking at her with nervous eyes. She backed into a tree, wanting to be away from him.
TBC...
Yeah yeah. Why am I stopping there? Because I have 16 science questions that ALL involve graphs... Which is pretty sad... [/glow]
