Hi! For those of you who read my last fanfiction your probably thinking," Man that was short." I promise this on will be longer. Also I forgot to make up for the last one, a way for Kenai to nearly die. The question is, what will happen this time. Here is a preview: Kenai had felt the sting of a spear before. It was when Adka nearly killed him before and had cut his fur. But this hurt a lot more. He got hit, in the stomach. It was then that he knew, that he was done. ....... HA! HA! I got your attention! Now you want to find out what happens! ;D

I'd also like to say that I have had this idea ever since the first Brother Bear movie was in theaters still. But thanks to you guys. I finally got the motivation to do it! (Note: I will have Nita in it. I just said I had the idea.)

Fine! Just because I'm nice. I'll put up the prologue:
Prologue:
It has been 2 years since Nita and Kenai were first married. Karion, who had tried to ruin Kenai, now has a bear friend (get it?) named Kacie. Kenai secret has been kept safe for a while and it still is. Happiness has been floruishing for the family of Nita, Kenai and Koda. But little do they know that somewhere out there in the darkness, someone they hoped they would never see again was plotting his revenge.
Adka was supposed to marry Nita in an arranged marriage to unite his and her village. It was during the time when they were preparing that some bear came into her village and started to attack. So he thought to prove how worthy he was for Nita he would try and fight it and save the village. He came close and thought he had killed it. But it was alive, barely. As it turned out it was that bear-boy that everyone was talking about and he used to be Nita's friend. But how was he supposed to know. And as it also turned out the bear was just protecting his cub who had come to get Nita. Adka thought it was only lost and the villagers were trying to help it. But just because she didn't understand his reasoning, she dumped him, transformed herself into a bear and married the bear. Now he wanted his revenge on what Kenai had done to him and he was going to get it, soon.
Well...what did you think? Pretty good, huh? I might try adding in songs like Nadine did with her story. Just to shake things up a bit. Check back in 1 to 7 days for the first chapter.

Chapter 1:
Kenai had been yelling Koda’s name for hours. Or at least it felt like hours to him. He had no idea where Koda could be. He had no idea what happened to Nita either. “That’s it. The next time we play hide-and-seek. I’m hiding first, or we hide in a smaller area,” said Kenai angrily to himself. That was when he heard somebody or something moving in the forest. It was coming closer and closer to him. “Koda,” he called out. No reply. “Nita,” he asked loudly. Still no reply. Then out of the bushes came Rutt and Tuke. “Oh hey! It’s Big Bear,” said Tuke. “How’s it going, eh,” asked Rutt. “Next time you here me talking. Please just at least indicate that you know me. I was really scared there for a moment,” replied Kenai sarcastically. “Ha! A scared bear! That’s a new one,” laughed Rutt. “Beauty, eh,” replied Tuke. “Ah crap,” said Kenai quietly to himself. But he could barely hear himself over the laughter of Rutt and Tuke. “Hey! Have either of you seen Koda or Nita,” asked Kenai. “Oh yeah! We just saw them down in the ditch back a bit,” said Rutt. “Yeah. They also said not to tell you where they were,” Tuke also said. “Don’t worry. You didn’t,” said Kenai. “Oh. Beauty, eh” said Tuke. “Well we were off to talk to our girl friends. We’ll catch ya later Big Bear,” said Rutt. “See ya guys,” replied Kenai. Right after Rutt and Tuke walked off Kenai said to himself, “Well that was easy. Now I know where they are.” *** Meanwhile, Nita and Koda were hiding in the ditch they had been hiding in for a while now. “Do you think he’ll ever find us,” asked Koda. “Well he’s taken several hours, or at least it seems like he has,” replied Nita. “Do you think that Rutt and Tuke will tell him,” asked Koda. “Nah, there dumb. But nice, they wouldn’t tell him,” replied Nita. Right after she had said that she heard somebody or something coming towards them. “Kenai,” she called out. No reply. “Rutt? Tuke,” she asked. Still no reply. “Nita. I’m scared,” said Koda. Just as he said that a dark figure jumped above them. They both screamed. When the figure landed they saw that it was Kenai. “Kenai! Don’t scare us like that,” screamed Nita. “Well next time don’t hide for hours on end with out even making some noise for a chance for me to find you,” replied Kenai. They stood intensely at each other for a while. Koda looked nervously from one to the other. But before he knew it they broke down laughing. “What? What’s so funny,” asked Koda. “I was so worried about you guys,” Kenai said in between laughs. “We’re sorry. But it was so funny to listen to you trying to find us like you were a salmon trying to get out of a bear’s stomach,” replied Nita in between laughs. “Now that was funny Nita….I still don’t get why you guys were laughing before,” said Koda. *** Meanwhile in a village far off, a past enemy of Kenai’s was plotting against him. Adka was trying to devise a plan so that he and his friends could kill Kenai so that he could get Nita to be his wife. He had made many different plans but none of them seemed to be good enough and there was always some loophole with a way for him to get away from it. He didn’t know what to do. He needed to unite his village with Nita’s. Only Nita’s village had the medicine to save his father, the leader of his village. And unless they were united as one village he was pretty sure they wouldn’t help them. Even though his father had said several times that they should just try and ask the village for its help. He knew he needed a plan that would work. Then he had it. It was the best plan ever. There was no way that Kenai would be able to escape. He was going to kill, Kenai. *** The next day Kenai awoke full of joy. For he was being greeted by another day. And he was going to cherish it greatly, yet he did not know it would be his last. Waking up in the light, Of a shiny new day, Giving thanks to the moon, For guiding my way, At that moment Koda was sneaking up behind him. He jumped on to Kenai to surprise him. But at that moment Kenai ducked down and Koda went flying over his head. “You can’t fool me,” laughed Kenai. “I’ll get you next time,” replied Koda. Unfortunately for Koda there might not be a next time for him. There is no better gift to the soul, Plan each breath that my body can hold, So great spirit, here my voice today. Welcome magic, welcome sweet sunrays, Love is no secret, look all around you, welcome to this day! At that moment Nita came up to Kenai. “Hi handsome,” she said. “Morning Nita,” replied Kenai. They then sat there and watched the sunrise together. Unfortunately it might be the last time for them. Look all around you! Welcome magic, welcome sweet sunrays, Love is no secret look all around you, welcome to this day! One of the first things Kenai did on his last day was a trip to the Salmon Run. When they arrived they were greeted by Karion and Kacie. “Hey Kenai,” said Karion. “Oh, hiya Karion,” replied Kenai. “Who’s this,” asked Kacie. “This is my old friend Kenai,” said Karion. “Oh, the one you talk so much about,” said Kacie. “That sounds like me,” said Kenai. “Mostly it’s about how you mess with bear’s minds,” said Kacie. “And it’s time for us to go! See ya tomorrow Kenai,” said Karion quickly, he then hurried Kacie along. Kenai just stood there with a look of disbelief. “Well…you did pick on him during your childhood,” said Nita. Kenai just walked off grumbling under his breath. They soon came across Tug and some other bears. “Hey! Tug,” yelled Koda. “Hey Koda,” replied Tug. “Hi Tug,” said Kenai. “You gonna finish that story you started about how you and Nita met,” asked Tug. “Yeah,” said all the other bears there. “Maybe some other time you guys. How about tomorrow,” asked Kenai. “Fine. But you better not die before then,” replied Tug. “That’s the last thing I plan to do,” replied Kenai.
Has been added upon. Please tell me what you think.

Hmmm....interesting. Atka trying to get revenge so he can get Nita to be his wife? I get the feeling it won't work out at the end, but who cares? I may hate Nita, but your stories ain't so bad. And I think adding the songs on your fanfic will be great too seeing that I already did that with mine ;D
I always love reading fanfics with music lyrics in them, they make it so much more.....musical like XP

Here it is. "It Will Be Me" by Mellisa Etheridge is in it.
Chapter 2: As Adka was making the final preparations for his hunt his friends had gathered in his tent. “So what’s the plan Adka,” asked one. “Very simple. We offer to trade his life for what he wants the most,” replied Adka. “What does that include,” asked another. “I’ll tell you more when we’re ready,” he replied. They soon embarked on the hunt to kill Kenai. *** As Kenai, Nita and Koda were walking home from a long day at the Salmon Run, Kenai asked Nita a strange question. “Nita, if I were going to die very soon. What would you say,” he asked. “Why do you ask,” she replied. “When Tug told me not to die. It got me thinking. Treasure each day as though it were your last,” was what he said. “I would have to say that you have changed my life in so many ways. Not just in appearance, but in so many ways,” replied Nita. “Thanks,” said Kenai. “I’d say the same thing…except without the appearance thing,” said Koda. “Thanks guys. That means a lot to me,” said Kenai. “So what should we do tomorrow!? Should we go hunting for pine nuts?! Or go exploring in general,” asked Koda excitedly. “Slow down there Koda. We might want to just wait until tomorrow to see if it’s raining or something first before we decide,” said Nita. “Come on what are the chances that it’ll rain tomorrow,” asked Koda excitedly. Despite the fact that everything would be over soon for Kenai. They all seemed to be in high spirits. It was just about when they were home when it all happened. It happened all so fast. Out of nowhere four hunters appeared and cornered Nita and Koda. When Kenai was about to save Nita and Koda he heard a voice tell him to stop. He turned around to see Adka walking towards him “Adka,” he said grimly. “Recognize me,” asked Adka. “Yes,” said Kenai. Except for Adka it came out as bear talk. “Oh, I forgot. I can talk to bears. But I think you can understand me. Now listen closely. You can see that Nita and Koda are in danger. I’ll let them go as long as I get to kill you. Sound simple enough,” Adka asked. “You monster,” said Nita angrily. “And don’t you worry Nita, you will soon be free to marry me,” said Adka. “I have to safe Nita and Koda. But if I try to the hunters can kill them. But if I agree with Adka, then I’ll die. I guess I’ll have to do the right thing,” thought Kenai. “Now if you are willing to agree, then nod your head,” said Adka. Kenai then nodded his head. “Kenai you can’t do this,” screamed Nita. “Goodbye Nita. I’ve always loved you. Take good care of Koda. And goodbye Koda,” said Kenai. “Well. Looks like you made a good choice,” said Adka as he took aim. He then threw his spear. “Kenai,” screamed Nita.
Kenai had felt the sting of a spear before. It was when Adka had tried to kill him before and took off some of his fur. This time it hit him in the stomach. It was then that he knew it was over. Kenai died. “It’s all over,” Adka said. “Kenai,” screamed Nita. “No,” whined Koda. “Now you can marry me Nita. Take your time to change back to human and get ready to get married. Goodbye for now,” said Adka. He and his friends left. Nita and Koda ran towards Kenai’s body. “Kenai! Kenai talk to me,” screamed Nita. Kenai was barely alive.. “Nita…Koda,” Kenai said weakly, “Goodbye.” Kenai then stopped breathing. *** It was the next day in Kenai’s village when they had a funeral. Nita, Koda, Karion and Kacie were the only bears that were invited. Soon the villagers carried the body of Kenai on a sort of stretcher down an aisle of people. If you hear a voice in the middle of the night, Sayin’ it’ll be alright, it will be me. If you feeling a light guiding you along, While the path seems so wrong, it will be me. Nita then remembered a time when she and Kenai were kids and he saved her from drowning and there bond that the spirits created began. There’s no mountain I can’t climb, For you I’d swim through the rivers of time. As you go your way and I go mine, A light will shine, it will be me. Koda also remembered of when he and Kenai first met. “I don’t need some stupid bear’s help. I just need the stick!” “Kenai,” Koda whimpered. He then began crying and Nita hugged him. It will be me, It will be me, It will be me. Nita then felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned around in time to see it was Denahi walking by. Denahi went up to the front where Kenai’s body lay. He seemed so at peace for someone who took a spear to the stomach. Denahi began to speak to the tribe. “Some of us may have thought as Kenai as a great friend. Or a person that was a kid at heart. Others might have thought of him as someone always needing to be saved from trouble. But he was mostly known as someone who cared. He didn’t think that love had anything to do with being a man. But he turned into a bear, for love. He nearly died twice, for love. He eventually died, for love. We might remember him differently but we will always remember some how,” Denahi said sadly. As he walked off, Nita could have sworn she saw him shed a tear.
Yes Kenai dies. No "it wasn't the real Kenai" thingies. It was the real Kenai.

Wow....that's a sad chapter One question, what did you mean "Yes Kenai dies. No it wasn't the real Kenai. It was the real Kenai"? I'm confused with that, it didn't make any sense when you said that

It some comic book/television series. The main character dies, but it was really a replacement and the main character is still alive. Note: This story was based of an idea from the first Brother Bear film except it has been modified for Brother Bear 2 storyline...thingy.
