I've never been to either. Hopefully I'll be able to go to Disney World in January.

Disneyland... hm... if I remember it right... it's about 1 hour or less from Los Angeles airport... can't remember exactly though... last time I went to California Advanture... and I heard they are building something "Canadian" near the Grizzly River Rapids (name? can't remember...), suppose it is for "Brother Bear"... and I'm looking forward to that...

An entire month basically.
But of course, Disneyland / California Adventure is better! They have a Brother Bear place you can go to at California Adventure. ;D

Well, DisneyWorld is the bigger one... and unfortunately Mr. Eisner hasn't got the bump to invest more money into CA Advanture... so... That's why the California one seems a bit... cheap... But hey! They have "The magic of Brother Bear" show over over there in CA!

I think Disneyland is in Anaheim. From what I hear about how run down the parks have become, it is almost better not to go until they turn things around. There have been accidents on their rides, very sad to hear. Check out that site I posted before for details: www.savedisney.com

Hmm, this topic may be a bit old, but not as old as some things I've seen revived. I voted "both" in the poll, but that's slightly misleading; I've never been to Disneyland in California, but we did go to Disneyland Paris, years ago. I've also been to Disney World twice before. I think there's also a Disneyland in Asia somewhere, but I always forget where, so that's not much help. I've never been to that one, anyway. I think I've been told that I did go to Disneyland in California once, a long time ago, when I was in a stroller. I don't remember anything of it, obviously, so I'm not counting it here. I don't remember much about Disneyland Paris, except that we stayed, at least for a time, in an Old West style hotel, which I think was part of a small theme town. They had pony rides and themed merchandise there, and I think you had to take a bus to get to the rest of the park. Probably had something to do with Frontierland, if I'm not mixing up my park facts. I remember a rope bridge and something to do with the Swiss Family Robinson, and a version of the Haunted Mansion, which has a different name there. I just forgot what it is. I was determined to go on that ride, but it freaked me out; I spent the whole thing with my eyes closed once we were in the cars. Thanks to that, I don't know what it's like compared to the Haunted Mansion at Disney World. I'm told it's more frightening in France. I also remember Big Thunder Mountain, unless it was Old Thunder Mountain; I'm always forgetting the name. The neon bats on that one freaked me out, too. I'm a very easily frightened person. I don't remember much else, except the light parade, and that short movie featuring Michael Jackson; I THINK we were in Disneyland Paris when we saw that, but I'm never sure anymore. I wish I'd got the plushie of this weird alien critter from that show, instead of whatever it was I ended up with; probably my Duchess plushie. Anyway, any number of people could describe Disney World, so I don't think I'll go into that right now, at least not in this post; I'd end up rambling on and on forever. I will say that I loved the Animal Kingdom, and think everyone should go there when they get the chance; unless you only have time to see one park, and you've never been to a Disney park before, in which case I would recommend seeing the Magic Kingdom first.

The four Disney places in the world are...
1) Florida, USA 2) California, USA 3) Paris, France 4) Tokyo, Japan
This one is extra, still under construction:
5) Hong Kong, China

Ah, thanks, Nikiski! That clears it up. I was sure there was one in Tokyo, but for some reason I kept remembering something about Hong Kong, too.
