I guess I can post this here, right? Is anyone going to see The Village? Ooooooh, I'm going later today, and I CAN'T WAIT!!! ;D I'll probably be so freaked out, but it'll be fun! I love M Night Shyamalan's films, "Signs" is my favorite! (oh, hey, I can link this to Brother Bear, Joaquin Phoenix, voice of Kenai is the main character in The Village! he's also in Signs) Anywho, is anyone else going to see it?

And to tell you the truth, I wasn't freaked out at all, actually! There are parts that make you jump, but I won't give anything away. It rocked, seriously! The acting was supurb as well! Dang, that Bryce Howard girl deserves an Academy Award! And Joaquin Phoenix and Adrien Brody were awesome as well! Such good acting in this movie! Man....if you like these types of movies, go see it, here's the web site if you don't really know much about it! thevillage.movies.go.com/Again, I highly recommend this movie! Yeehaw! So great! I went out to go see ‘The Village’ yesterday. I understood everything that was going on but it still left me confused. It was a fairly decent movie though. It kind of reminded me of ‘The Secret Garden’. This movie is probably not even in the same category as ‘The village’, but it probably comes close in weirdness.
There is one thing I have to ask though. In the scene, near the end, with the guy sitting in the chair, talking to the other guy grabbing the medicine. The only thing you can see of this guy is in the reflection. Everyone in the audience went crazy when they saw who this was, but I couldn’t tell from just the reflection. Who was it that you see? What was so special about him? It’s driving me crazy, trying to find out.

*smiles* That was the director/writer/producer M. Night Shyamalan! He makes an appearance in all of his movies!
Glad you went and saw it! I like the Secret Garden too!

I saw The Village today with my grandma, she wanted to go to the movies and we saw it! It was a pretty good movie, freaky at times too. I didn't noticed M. Night Shyamalan at the end, probably because I don't have a clue who he is XD
But yeah, I liked the movie, it was pretty good!

This is just what happened with Pirates of the Caribbean Soundtrack, I had to order it online and WAIT FOREVER!! sigh.. Everyone go see the Village! It's the greatest movie I've seen this summer! Greatest live action movie! Moved to the top of my list! Shyamalan RULES!!! also, if you haven't before, watch "Signs" my other favorite movie by Shyamalan.

I saw it! Oh...I loved it. It was excellent. I think that throughout his film's M. Night Shyamalan has improved in the way he adds his twists...in this film I didn't even see them coming!
But there's one thing I don't get. If you haven't seen it you might want to skip overy this message, seeing as it will have SPOILERS
Okay...Noah (was that his name?) was the one who brought the 'creatures' or whatever you'd like to call them to life, right? By acting as one. However...I may be wrong, but I'm just not quite sure...was Noah in the cellar with the others when one of those creatures came into the homes? Or was he not there? I forgot...I might be wrong, and if I am...then just tell me.

SPOILERS!!!! MAJOR SPOILERS!!! don't read if you haven't seen it yet!!! Yes, Noah was in the cellar with them, but that was the time some of the elders were dressing up as the creatures. They were putting more fear in the villagers by making the creatures look like they were angry and wanted them to leave. What did you think of Bryce Dallas Howard's (Ivy Walker) acting? Brilliant, no? She was amazing! Dang I love this movie!! I'm going again today today!! Hooray!

SPOILERS
Ohhh yeah! Okay, I wasn't quite sure if that was the case or if it was one of those 'do they or do they not exist?' things going on. But that makes sense...I didn't think of that.
Yes, she was excellent! She almost reminded me of a book character...which is a good thing, because she seemed to bring traits that we don't use as much anymore to life. And I loved her hair.
Did you notice that the preserve they were on was 'Walker' too? Maybe that...history...guy...bought it or something...they might have mentioned it, but I didn't hear it.
