I've come accross the strangest thing. Here I am strolling along the Brother Bear Wikipedia article and noticed some changes on the article. As I read on I noticed the strangest thing. Under the link to the Brother Bear 2 article I found an inactive wikipedia article of Brother Bear 3 with an early...Well, look for yourself: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brother_Bear#SequelPretty much a fan's wishful thinking since Disney official canned their direct-to-DVD Disney sequels idea. But then I found this: www.petitionspot.com/petitions/BB3/Petition for Brother Bear 3, eh? As much as I would like a continuation to the series, I doubt an online petition would work. But what the heck, at least show your interest and sign. What do you have to lose. Personally I would like to see the Brother Bear series continue, but I'm well aware of the risks of the series continuing with the risk of not being able to get returning VAs like the lovable Koda VA, Jeremy Suarez.

A BB3?! You're kidding?! I doubt this is gonna happen! We were told that Disney was going to cancel their direct-to-video job thing after the release of The Little Mermaid III, how is that possible? After the ending of the second one, I don't think there's more of the story for Brother Bear even if they do continue. Kenai earn a brother and a girlfriend so what?! And with Jeremy Suarez already 17 this year, I doubt he'll return for Koda again. I was told he barely finish the lines because of his voice changing through the hard work of the sequel. I for one, am not signing on that petition, don't ask me why. I have my reasons........

IF they continue with the story line they could always make it so some ominous reason for why Kenai has to turn back into a human (save denahi or tribe) and since the beginning of bb1 had a diff. VA for Denahi they can use Harold Gould to voice Denahi

You have a good point there, but let's think about some things here. I thought about this a couple of nights ago.
Remember the Brother Bear TV series announced along with the sequel? Well think about it, there are Disney movies that are actually the first three-four episodes of a TV series like Tarzan & Jane, Hercules: Zero to Hero, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: Adventure Begins. You get the point.
Well, what if this Brother Bear 3 is just that? The first three-four episodes of the TV series built into one direct-to-DVD pilot movie. Despite there not being a TV series of Brother Bear coming, this doesn't mean the first three episodes are going to be stapled together into a direct-to-DVD movie (Atlantis: Milo's Return being an example as it's a movie of the first three episodes stapled together from the cancelled Atlantis TV series).
This is just a the0ry IF this Brother Bear 3 rumor is to be true. We'll see if anything happens.

You also forgot "Stitch! The Movie" which showed the first episodes that then led into the series...

I'm not surprised. :: shrug ::
I don't really believe in petitions. And I'm not really interested in a BB3, no offense. And besides, this BB3 probably doesn't even exist. Don't forget, Wikipedia has a lot of unreliable and false information, since anyone and everyone can make edits and changes.

I agree Night Bear, wikipedia can come up with a lot of fasle information from time to time before they change it to the right info, but Kenchi made an excellent point to my agreement about the cancelling to the direct-to-video thing, but maybe they might have the BB3 thing idea change into one of those first three-four episodes movies like they did with the Atlantis II: Milo's Return. At first, I thought it was offically the sequel to Atlantis until I heard there was suppose to be a TV of it. Same thing with Cinderella, but there wasn't a DTV three-four episode thing, I could be wrong but I get mixed up with a lot of fake and/or true rumors.
We don't know offically or not if this BB televison series is going to happen or not, but if it doesn't, I'm sure they make it the same way like they did with the Atlantis one did before....making it into a three to four episode sequel that was suppose to be a show, but cancelled before it was air sort of thing.

I never said it's true. I know this is Wikipedia we're talking about and it's probably false, but we never know. *Shrugs* Time will tell.

But why would someone choose to put that their as a joke? They wouldn't make it something like that... A vandalist would make it something like "Brother Bear 3 is never coming out...so ha ha!" Something like that...

I wouldn't count their decision as a final one. It may be set down at the moment, but within a couple of years I'm sure they'll change their minds again. I've seen many companies claim that they'll never do this or that and etc again and I've even seen companies actually leave the U.S. because they'll never publish anything for us again. But later they come back and bring us what we love again. So I wouldn't give up on the idea of at least one more sequel or even the TV show. ;D

I signed the petition. Its not going to hurt anything weather or not it actually happens. But I don't think it will be very good if it does happen though... Kenai's VA in BB2 just made it sound like he had a nasel infection. And neither Kenai or Koda looked the same. The story was okay, but I just found it to be generally vulgar. And with the 3rd one... they'll have to replace Jeremy, so I'm not sure if I'll like it. Anyway, its like I said... it can't hurt!

Not necessarily true. People can put in false information just because they can, and it doesn't have to be something like "Brother Bear 3 is never coming out". If they want to trick people into believing the movie is coming out, why would they say it's not? They would put in information such as "Brother Bear 3 is coming in 2008" and stuff like that to give people false hope.
Okay you do realize what vulgar means, right? It means, pretty much "not for children". The movie was not vulgar, because if it was, it would have gotten a higher rating and would not have been for kids. In fact, BB2 ,probably would not even been made if it was vulgar.
