Anyone here played the games in the Spyro series? I have, and I own some of them too. ^^ I love this game series. I've always been fond of dragons. I enjoy all 3 games for the Playstation as well as A Hero's Tale and A New Beginning for the X-Box, Gamecube, and PS2. I look forward to the new Spyro game coming out soon.

Oh I love the flying levels. Yeah they take some time getting used to, but I really enjoyed it whenever I did fly. Well..except in Enter the Dragonfly (got rid of that game). The flying levels there were..too rigid in my opinion.

lol You talking about the first game? First game you can't touch the water at all, inside or outside flying levels.

I played the first Spyro game years ago, I liked it but never got into the series. I borrowed Legend of Spyro from a friend a few months ago and I liked it. I'm not a fan of the series but I liked what I played.

Unfortunately, no. Are they "A Hero's Tail" and "Year of the Dragon"?

Nope. Second game was "Ripto's Rage" and third game was "Year of the Dragon". A Hero's Tail was the 5th PS Spyro game.

I absolutely love Spyro the Dragon by far one of my top favorite video game characters of all time. Such fun games, great levels and great characters as well. I will say my favorite is Ripto's Rago from the trilogy. I just love how Tom Kenny brought Spyro to life in that game. And, he does an even better job in the new Spyro Reignited Trilogy.

I think Spyro was one of the first playstation video games I got back when the franchise was still still freshly new. The first Spyro game was the only one I played when I was younger, so I never got around to playing the new sequels and I regret it. Thankfully I got the reignited trilogy during the holidays, so I was able to make up for it.
Kinda sucks though that Spyro can’t swim in the first game, but he can in the others.
