Some of you probably already know this but I found this article interesting and it's new to me "Buena Vista Home Entertainment's direct-to-DVD Brother Bear 2 topped the national DVD sales chart for the week ending Sept. 3. It's the second direct-to-DVD winner for Buena Vista this year; Bambi 2 came out in February and still ranks among the top 10 DVD sellers of the year."Source: Comingsoon.net Full Article: www.comingsoon.net/news/dvdnews.php?id=16374Sounds like Brother Bear 2 was a success on sales just like the original! Bravo Disney! ;D

I remember reading that on animated-news.com one time but I wasn't too happy about that cause I didn't care about that cheap stupid BB2 for goodness' sakes! Ugh!

That's your opinion, Nadine. I don't believe the movie was that bad.

I have to admit, it was kinda shocking seeing how well it did during it's sales. That's quite a shock for me!

Same here, but only because sequels don't usually do nearly as well as the original.

Funny and I thought ALL sequels were good, but I guess people are right. Some disney sequels can be bad...I guess. V_V

The reason why sequels have a hard time living up to the original is because people expect different things. Fans of, oh say, Finding Nemo, for example, all have different opinions on what a sequel should be like, so if a sequel is made, some fans will be satisfied, but others will be disappointed.
I think it's impossible to make a sequel that satisfies all the fans. There's always at least once fan who will be disappointed.

True. Can't agrue with that. Like say me for example...I think I was the only one who didn't care for this while a lot of other people here liked the sequel for some reason.
