Hello, well its finally August 29! Hooray for BB2. I have a question for all who've seen it,are Rutt and Tuke in this movie as much as in BB or do they have less scenes? I really hope that they have even more scenes than the first movie!

I saw the sequel today but I'll tell ya one thing. They did show Rutt and Tuke a little bit more than they did in the first one. And they didn't show Tug that much like the first one did, but Rutt and Tuke appear in the sequel more than you think.

Hmmm.. I haven't seen it but it does kinda seem that Rutt and Tuke appear more as they're attempting to impress those moosettes. ;D

it's kind of about a man... and kind of about a bear. But mostly it's about a monster.

Yeah they do, do to the fact that if they were removed from bb1 it wouldnt affect the main plotline, while in bb2 if they werent there, the plotline would have changed near the end

Actually, it's quite the opposite my bear friend; Rutt and Tuke had plenty of role in the first movie; in the second movie it wasn't that important. Why? They're just there to theme the movie's "romance" type of thing going on with Kenai and Nita, and SOME comic relief. Same with what Tug was doing at the beginning.
In the first movie, Rutt and Tuke said some stuff to Koda that made him realize how important Kenai was as a brother, no matter how bad he was in killing his mother. Now, if the two hairbrained moose hadn't been in the movie at all, Kenai would have talked to some other animals; Kenai wouldn't have met Koda as soon as he did, or at all if possible; Kenai would be DEAD. Then there wouldn't BE a BB2.
I'd suggest watching BB again, and watch Rutt and Tuke's roles closely. I might not be the biggest fan of them, but I do know that if it weren't for them, then Brother Bear wouldn't be what is is. It's possible it would be still "BEARS", like that had at first planned...
And in BB2, btw, Rutt and Tuke did quite in fact have more camera time, but in my opinion it was kinda meaningless up 'til Rutt talked about how his brother ditched him for a babe. Or two. Then they saved Koda. Now, it's possible the storyline could have changed from there, and...well. the rest is spoilers so... Yea.

I forgot about that scene where they remind Koda that either way Kenai is still his brother.... meh... more or less though the Moose are in the sequel a heck of a lot more than in the first but play relatively the same amount of role in both movies but also remember even if Koda didnt save Kenai in the first part of the fight, i still think they would have Sitka save Kenai...though that still leads to no bb2

Slightly more if not the same amount I say.

Hmmm studying the movies after watching them 100+ times..I think the moose appear more in the first movie(not counting their commentary on the first DVD.) then in the second one.
They probably more...meaningful in the first then the second, but still very helpful in the second so their roles was spaced out to fill the holes.
