Maurice Sendak's Little Bear. Anyone remember this little gem of a show from the 90s? The lovable and cute Little Bear and his loving parents and cast of characters, how I love this show. It also produced a cute direct-to-DVD movie. 65 episodes with 3 short stories in each one, resulting in a whooping 195 short stories in every episode. Man did the writers had a lot of imagination and material to make all of that. The episodes are all innocent and free of violence and rich with children imagination and playful fun. Little Bear and his lively imagination, Cat's mischievous and playful behavior, Duck's slow yet smart moments, the show has a little of everything. The show is quite charming and perfect for everyone's childhood in their heart. If interested I have a few Little Bear episodes that I'm uploading to Youtube one by one. Watch some and have some fun along with Little Bear in this charming show. www.youtube.com/profile_videos?user=Kenichi340

I've seen it on a few times. It's pretty fun and innocent to watch . I've enjoyed occasionally when I've had time.

I enjoyed it a lot when I could watch it in Denver. That bear is just so cute X3
Part of the sadness of mine when I had to go was that I don't have satelite cable at my house to watch it XP

It used to be that this show was on a lot here. Lately however, I haven't seen it even listed in the TV guides. It seems that they have started to play it less, or it could be that it only plays earlier in the day when I'm at school (or sleeping on the weekends).
I will have to check next time I get the chance to see if is still being played at all. ;D

I think the pharmacy where I work still sells the Little Bear Toddler safe tooth paste, that stuff that's safe for kids to swallow. I kind of considered myself to 'old' for this show, but on the other hand I do love Brother Bear and the Land Before Time movies. To embaressed to let my family find out (I'm 21) so I watch 'em on occasions when I'm home alone .

I'm 19 and I watched it all the time on Denver with my grandma and uncle, and they liked the show too. The show is just too cute and fun XD I'm hoping sometime in the future they release a DVD box set for every season. I missed when they began selling the DVDs on a huge scale and I could only find the four DVDs still in print (Or probably the last ones after being out of print) and I would love to get more episodes to my collection. Maybe it'll happen soon, because interest in Little Bear is still going. I believe Else is still writing Little Bear children books (Which I'm collecting) to this day and just recently I found a valentines day cards box based on the Little Bear TV show. (I bought it of course)

Heh. This is pretty awesome. You reminded me of my favourite show growing up. I had almost forgotten about it. And after watching just two of the episodes you put up, I can already see what quirks I gained from it. For instants, the way Little Bear seems to say "Hmm... interesting" a lot. I still do that! I mean, I knew I got that from something in my childhood, but now I remember it was this awesome show. X3 Thanks a bunch for uploading these, Keni!

Hehe, you're welcome, Midnight.
BTW, anyone also saw the Little Bear Movie? It's very cute watching Little Bear interact with another bear cub of his own age in that movie. I just wish the movie wasn't the series finale and that it would've continued on after the movie to include Cub in the series ><

If the tutu dress thing around his waist wasn't a big enough clue XP

The cat was my all-time favorite character from Little Bear.
But you know what's funny; when you re-watch the show again (it airs around at midnight on Nick Jr.) I can't help but feel like Little Bear reminds me of Koda in a way; but on two legs lol
