Has anyone heard of this game? It's like Resident Evil meets Jurassic Park. It's one of the few survival horror movies I played and enjoyed. The plot involves Regina and two comrades trying to capture Dr. Kirk, a scientist that was thought to have died years ago. Along the way, they encounter vicious dinosaurs and increasingly low ammo. As the story unfolds, it eventually becomes clear as to how the dinosaurs came into present time. It's not too scary, especially when you consider other games like Doom III. I also enjoy its first sequel, Dino Crisis 2. This game was focused more on action and the plotline involved trying to save 1,000+ people that were transported to a dinosaur-infested world. This game didn't have an ammo problem; you could buy it. The ending was a real shocker for me. It was really unexpected.

I played it once a long time ago. Though I remember getting stuck in one part and couldn't progress. It was fun, but I could never figure out how I could tell how much health I had. Couldn't find any health bar or anything from what I remember.

In Dino Crisis, the only way to know how much health you have is by watching the character. From my experience, this is what I'm able to determine:
Bleeding only: Little hurt, but don't need to take immediate action Limping only: Hurt, advised to take medicine, but the chances of surviving is still pretty good Bleeding AND limping: Very badly hurt, seek medical attention ASAP
However, it's still dangerous to be bleeding, limping, or both as they all increase the chances of being killed. If you bleed enough, you will start limping, and I think if you bleed long enough, you die from blood loss. And limping slows you down, making it easier for the dinos to catch you.

Alone in the Dark had a similar system to tell how much you're hurt. Your clothes would get ripped and if one of your wounds was big enough you would start to bleed out, which would stop you from running and you'd die within minutes from blood loss. Good to know though, now I know what to look for when I'm playing it again.
