Unfortunately, I don't get to see them in wildlife. But I heard some stories from mushroomers and fishermen about their meetings with bears. Maybe next summer I'll take trip to Khibinsky Mountains(where is beautifully nature) and probably I could see them, from safety distance of course

I voted Polar bears. But its a close split between Grizzly and Polar. Polar bears only because to me they seem to have more human-like actions and sophisticated social structure. Plus...How cute are they, common! I really, really hope they can adapt to the shorter hunting season (supposedly caused by us and pollution) and hopefully that will tide the species over until we can figure out what the hell is going on with our planet, if we can fix it...If we are willing to fix it (that's the problem) and how to prolong and preserve their natural habitat.
Grizzlies are the icon of what a bear is and that is why they are so well known and loved by enthusiasts! And you don't have to go as far to see Grizzlies! they are so fluffy and huggable!
I actually don't care for Black Bears as much. They are native to the area I live now and every once in a while I'll see one in the woods around my area, or crossing a field. They just seem like a weaker, smaller more clumsy bear to me. I still feel a loving passion for them, as most any form of wildlife.

mock, thanks for sharing that site. It was quite interesting to read. I actually was convinced grizzlies naturally act aggressive against humans when coming too close. I'd really love to go to that park at least once... Ontopic: yeah, I'm gonna stick with grizzlies.
