Name ---- Hugie (obviously :
Species ---- Grizzly
Age ---- 8 bear years.
Appearance ---- A slightly above average size and leaning a bit towards the rotund shape. Has a very worn out looking face, not very inviting and seemingly unfriendly. Eyes more slitted than large and round. Has a somewhat shaggy appearance all over his coat, not neat yet not overly scruffy. His right arm clearly larger in size than left, as this is greatly favoured. Tends to adopt a very nonchalant manner, not really ever looking like he needs to be anywhere or achieve anything fast, therefore travels at a slow pace. Has quite a deep voice and not always the most clearly audible due to his habit of muttering under his breath. Virtually scarless as wounds tend to fully heal without trace for him.
Personality ---- Despite being apparently outwardly unreceptive, shy and anti-social, has a very caring nature. Doesn't show it often but feels deeply for the few individuals that he has ever managed to develop a bond with. Often intolerant of insolence. Is protective of anything he cares about however and appears to have nothing to fear, perhaps due to the fact he has nothing to lose. Not a great fan of violence and not very patient with nonsense. Likes adventures, things that are out of the mundane.
History --- Has nothing but very hazy memories of childhood. All he knows is that something occurred as a cub with his family and then they were gone from his life, just like that. He has no idea why or how and all that even vaguely springs into memory is some strange figure that he doesn't recognise. After that, he was thrown into the midst of humans and raised there by them. He was never treated well though and led a pretty miserable and hateful life there. Then, one day, after waking up from a sleep, all the people had left and he was alone in their deserted camp. It was then that a family of bears freed him and kindly took him in. However, his time with the humans all his life meant he never fitted in well with the bears and he left himself not too long afterwards. From then on, he has done nothing much but wander aimlessly around, just surviving and perhaps, on rare occasions when he felt desperately alone or lost, tried to grasp back his desolate past and make sense of it all.
