Twinscar-
The kemon was confused by Nadine's actions. All he was trying to do was find a way to prove that, if she had been wrong, she wasn't guilty of lying. But the sow did not seem to understand his intentions, and she wasn't listening to what Kenai had said either.
He would have walked up to her and talked to her, but gave a sigh and looked away. He didn't think he should waste his time and effort with her if she acted that way.
Ysengrim-
The alimon lowered her haunches as she saw the sow leave the group. She grinned. Perhaps she could hunt this sow down, and eat her. She was getting hungry. But then, something stopped her. She didn't know what it was, but something was preventing her from going after Nadine. Instead, she turned her focus back on Twinscar, and she gave a soft growl.
Red, Brasil, and Silver-
"Are you sure?" The gray cub whined, pawing Red's muzzle. "I keep thinking something bad is going to happen to her."
The red alimon gave a weak smile. "Yeah, I think we all get those kinds of feelings, eh?" He laid his head on the ground, and curled up. He wished he could go to sleep, but he was supposed to watch the cubs. So he kept his yellow-colored irises facing the cubs at all times. He didn't worry about Silver; she hadn't moved from his side much this whole time.
Suddenly the red alimon sniffed something in the air, and he rose to his feet and growled softly. Silver backed away, feeling nervous. "What is it?"
"An intruder..." Red hissed. And he knew who it was. 'Brasil.'
On cue, the orange alimon leapt out of the brush and glared hatefully at Red. "I thought those injuries I gave you left you for dead!" Brasil hissed.
Red glared back at his cubbiehood tormentor. Then he realized something was different about Brasil. Looking more closely at his face, the crimson-skinned dinosaur noticed some burn marks. "And just what happened to you? Laid too close to the fire, I bet."
Brasil's eyes widened in slight horror as he had a recollection of what happened to him in his encounter with Xotol. He shook his skull. "No! Nothing of the sort!"
Red sneered. "Then what happened?"
"None of your business! Now get ready Red, because I'm..." All of a sudden the dinosaur stopped in his tracks. Something was in the wind, a scent he had smelled previously. He started to shake a little, remembering how he ran into Truttle before. He didn't want to fight that insane bear, and he gave up his fight with Red until another time.
Red watched as, just as suddenly as Brasil appeared, he disappeared back into the forest. Silver blinked. "Why did he just leave like that?"
"I don't know...I..." Then the alimon sniffed the air. "It's faint, but I think Rex is returning." He told Silver. "And he's not alone..." He whispered to himself.

OOC: Er, Nadine...I'm not sure how to respond to your post, because you've got it all wrong. Twinscar and Kenai did not say any of what you claim they did, so your character's reaction doesn't make any sense. Frankly, I'm a little confused as to why you think they're calling you a liar. Maybe you should go back and read our posts again, and pay attention to what they're saying. If you still think they're against you, could you please explain why you think that? I know understanding can be hard for you, but I think if you just concentrate and think a little harder when you're reading the roleplay, you might not make these mistakes as often.

OOC: Gah! I am so sorry Epesi. I sometimes take things the wrong way, but I think most of these posts are messing me up...or something might distracting me, I don't know what it is. Again, my apologzies. BIC: After claming down for a couple of minutes, Nadine went back towards the group. "Guys, ummm....I'm sorry for gettting upset. It's just...I've got a lot of anger problems to deal with. Please don't be mad at me. I guess I've...must had misunderstood something. Please forgive me." Nadine says. She really felt bad about being upset eariler, but she hope the group wouldn't take it out on her so hard after she tries to aplogzie. She sits there waiting for them to respone. Nadine did not know how they were gonna react, but for whatever reason, she hope she could handle it without too much pressure.

Kenai doesn't know what he said that was wrong; he just watches, increasingly baffled, as the sow wanders away looking like her world has been shattered. And then -- while Kenai is looking suspiciously at Savik and Thunderia, wondering if perhaps all females are like this -- Nadine returns quite suddenly, apologizing for the misunderstanding.
"Er..." Kenai doesn't know what just happened, but he doesn't want it to happen again. He doesn't know what caused the confusion, but he's determined to make himself perfectly clear this time.
"That's okay," he says hastily. "That's fine. No harm done. All we meant was that...maybe the Truttle you met wasn't really Truttle. Which means you were tricked. Which means you didn't lie to us; you told us what you thought was true. It could have happened to anyone."
Meanwhile, Savik has quite given up on the bears. Ignoring their conversation, she speaks quietly to Vetus and Twinscar.
"Maybe they're right about one thing: Truttle needs to be found. He's been gone far too long. He could be in danger." She shakes her head, growing more worried the longer she thinks about it. "We've been looking in the wrong place; Kenai doesn't need our help, and we don't owe it to him anyway. What do you two think?"

Nadine was about to say something to Kenai, but she decided to keep her mouth shut. She didn't want to get into another agrument with him or in front of the group, she was over and done with it. She glances back at Savik, listening to the small quiet conversation she was having with Twinscar and Vetus.
Nadine felt she was going to say something, but couldn't find the right way to say it. She was done repeating herself like a stupid fool, but kept quiet while she watch the other animals having their short amount of talk. From everything she could carefully listening to what they were saying, it sounded like they didn't want Kenai around for his help. If there was any other way to help Kenai, Nadine knew she be the one to do it. She do anything to get everything settle without trying to start another fight. But she still kept silently quiet cause she didn't want to cause another conflict again.

OOC:
LOL I still laugh when I read this. Good one Epesi! XD
BIC: Oh, how Vetus would love to add his comments to this little confrontation. However, as he has decided to hold his tongue for the time being (what with the Thunderia incident), his comments are kept to himself. That doesn’t stop him from offering a mental running commentary though.
My she gets off subject...very suspicious that she won't answer the Kemon's question.
]Temper temper there, Nadine, the Cave Lion mentally sneers as Nadine proclaims that she's telling the truth yet again, impaling the earth with his talons. It's taking all his will power to hold his tongue now.
Vetus nods in agreement as first Twinscar then Kenai and Savik speak. His ears flick as Nadine stomps off. Oh boo-hoo, they don't believe me so I'm going to go off on my own again. his mind hisses.
Now what- oh great she’s back. The Leo sets his ears back as Nadine apologizes. Anger issues huh? Wel-..well, I can’t comment. I’m not the best-tempered of all beasts. Animals who can’t fly shouldn’t mock Mammoth; and one really repeat aphorisms that don’t make any sense, he chuckles mentally.
"Maybe they're right about one thing: Truttle needs to be found. He's been gone far too long. He could be in danger. We've been looking in the wrong place; Kenai doesn't need our help, and we don't owe it to him anyway. What do you two think?" says Savik.
Joyful at an excuse to speak again, Vetus says “I agree. My only question is how are we going to find him? Tokala’s fluttered off somewhere.”

OOC: Heheh, thanks. XD Glad you enjoyed it.
BIC:
Savik sighs softly as she mulls over their next move. "Well...we'll go back to the beginning, I suppose. Trace our steps back to where we left the cubs and their caretakers. That's where Truttle was last seen, is it not? Then we can try to follow his trail -- assuming it's still there, after all manner of beasts have trampled it."
---
Seeing that the others' attentions are no longer on him and his companions, Kenai looks at Nadine. He doesn't understand her sudden change in behavior; he's doing everything in his power to help her, but more and more she seems to see him as the enemy. At least, that's what he assumes she sees, as she is refusing to speak to him all of a sudden. Great Spirits, what did he do wrong now? He spoke nicely, and he told her only the good news. Heaven only knows, he could have thought of many things to say that would have perfectly justify her reaction; but he held his tongue, didn't he?
Nadine might as well be a human right now, unable to understand bear speech, for all Kenai seems to be getting through to her. They're clearly not on the same page -- not even in the same book. He has to do something about it.
"Nadine," he begins in a hushed voice, not wanting to attract attention from the others standing across from them, "can we talk for a minute? Away from here."

As Rex finally agrees to lead Truttle, the big bear snorted in his displeasure as he followed.

Nadine mind her own business until Kenai quietly whisper to her, wishing in to speak to her privately. Usually, when someone asks somebody "We need to talk" or "Can I talk to you for a minute?", it wasn't always something good they had to say. So when Kenai ask if he can talk to her away from the others, this made her feel worry. She had a bad feeling it was gonna be something serious that might make her upset, but whatever Kenai was going to tell her, Nadine thought she might be able to handle it....as long as she didn't take it too hard. She nods at the brown bear. "Okay." She says and the two bears quietly leave the group alone until they were by theirselves. "Uhh...what is it you wanted to tell me?" She asked Kenai.

Only a moment ago, Kenai thought he was prepared; he knew exactly what he wanted to say. Now that the time has come to say it, he doesn't know where to begin. He glances twice over his shoulder; not for fear of being followed, but just to give himself something to look at besides Nadine. In the expectant silence, he can't meet her eyes.
"Well...it's just, you're acting strange. Didn't you understand that Twinscar was trying to help you? He never accused you of anything." He finally turns to look at her, fearing she might run off again.

Nadine understood what Kenai was going from here when he was telling her this. Luckily for him, Nadine kept her cool. "Yeah I know, that's why I'm really sorry for acting that way. My behavoir was totally uncalled for....that's why I felt bad about leaving eariler. I thought he was accusing me, but....I guess he was only trying to help." She said.

"Oh." Kenai is a little surprised by the answer. Now he's in a fix -- he had a whole speech planned that's turned out not to be necessary. What do you say when you're wrong? Oh, yeah. "Um...sorry."
He shuffles his paws a bit, looking around awkwardly for a few moments as he tries to decide what to say. It would be a waste not to talk about anything after dragging her away like this, and there are still some things Kenai wants to know.
"So...is there something else that's bothering you? You seemed like you were...holding something back."

Vetus nods. "Well, let's go then. The scent are sgetting colder." The Cave Lion turns and pauses. "Should we wait for them?" he asks, jerking his shaggy head in the direction of Nadine and Kenai as they wander off.

Ken'ichi
"Um...That's right..." Ken'ichi confirms Desu's inquire about the meaning of his name, though he doesn't feel like the "Strong One" at the moment...With what's going on recently he's not sure of anything anymore...
He looks at Night Bear to see the bear uneasy. "Um...Maybe we should go?" ---------------------------------------- Rex
'Guh...Impatient, aren't we?' Rex thought to himself as he grits his sharp teeth at the bear's attitude, not liking this one bit. He slightly turns to him with a mild glare, "Look, no need to give me such hostility. I'm sorry I gave you the third degree and I will take you where you want to go, just be patient and a simple thank you will suffice or just be quiet and don't say anything mean at all!"

Savik looks back after the bears, turning her ears this way and that as she thinks. Waiting for them will cost precious time; and anyway, they may not want to come along, having their own ideas about Truttle's location. But is it a mistake to let the bears get away after coming this far to find them?
At last she makes her decision, hoping she won't regret it later. "No. Let them finish their talk; they can catch up to us if they choose to follow."
