Does anyone here ever go to this website called MovieMistakes? As the name states, it helps you find errors, trivia and questions about the movies your looking for; and sequels too if there was something you missed out on.
Well I found a lot of them on BB2 when I look it up, and so maybe a lot of you didn't see some of these errors in the sequel if you have the movie on home, so I'll just bring it up for you and share my reactions to it ^^
The ones listed with the numbers will be cover in bold. Just remember, I wasn't the one who wrote them. I just happen to find them when I was visiting the site.
1. PLOT HOLE: The whole point of the first Brother Bear was that Kenai had to go to the mountain to become human. But at the end of this movie, the spirits were about to change Kenai back into a human in the middle of a cliff, which makes the entire first movie completely pointless.
I recently had no idea why I didn't see this coming before years ago when we came across to this scene. These spirits are so lazy! They must of gotten tired staying up in that mountain for so long LOL! XDD
2. REVEALING: Near the end, right before Nita goes after Kenai, she takes off her dress. If you look closely, when she takes it off, her necklace and earrings come off with the dress as if they were a part of the dress. Also, her hair is tied back back when she's wearing the dress. But when she takes it off, her hair is loose and flowing.
Err yeah I think we all notice that *facepalms* Her dress has like magic powers or something
3. CONTINUITY: When Kenai is talking to Nita after she has been turned into a bear, we can see that no one is behind Kenai. When we cut to a wide shot, Koda is standing behind him.
Umm...WHAT?! Are you sure about that internet? XP
4. CONTINUITY: When Kenai and Nita reunite, there are two broken spears pieces on the ground. Halfway through the scene, one of the pieces disappears.
Hmm interesting! I'll have to look back on that.
5. AUDIO PROBLEM: Everybody knows that waterfalls are very loud. However, in the scene at Hakoni Falls, which is completely surrounded by waterfalls, it's silent as a bomb.
Wow! That is...scary X3
6. CONTINUITY: During the raccoon scene, Nita completely disappears in wide shots.
SHE DOES? I don't remember that! ROFL!
7. CONTINUITY: Near the end, Nita tears off her sleeve to use as a bandage for Kenai. At one point, she drops it and it's gone for the rest of the scene.
Yeah what gives? His blood was gone there too!
8. PLOT HOLE: During the Feels like Home montage, we see Nita jumping over the ground using a wooden pole. Where did she get it? There's no room on her person to carry it and it's never mention again.
Her person? What a bad misleading error that is lolz! And who cares if it's doesn't get mention ever again? I don't see how this one of those plot holes in the film XP
9. AUDIO PROBLEM: When the ice cracks apart at Nita's wedding, a woman in the background says "It must be a sigh!", but the movement of her mouth doesn't match the dialogue.
Just which villager are you referring too? There was a lot of women during that scene!
10. PLOT HOLE: Kenai getting bonked on the head with a pinecone at the end could never happen. When Nita walks over to Kenai and Koda, we see that the only trees are to Nita's right. The pinecone then falls on Kenai from ABOVE. They look up and see a tree above them. Cut to wide shot, there are no trees around them.
.....yeah uhh, I can't really comment on this one! I'll just passed
11. CONTINUITY: When Koda scares Nita with the fish, she drops the fish in the water. But later, the fish is back on the shore.
Huh! This must be why Koda believe Nita was afraid of fish. It could go from place to place heheheh!
12. CONTINUITY: When Nita shows the amulet to Kenai, it's oval shaped. But for the rest of the movie, it's circle shaped.
IT WAS??? *checks images for prove* OMG IT WAS! Well I'll be darned. Crazy animators lol!
13. CONTINUITY: In the scene where Nita goes to see the Sha-woman, at one point, the sha-woman drops her horn. In the next shot, the horn is gone.
Hmm I wonder what happened with that. Did Innoko's horn just happened to get up and walk away? Haha!
14: CONTINUITY: At the end, when Kenai and Nita's fiance are fighting on the cliff, the sun is just starting to set. But the instant Kenai falls off the cliff, it's completely dark.
Hey that's not all! It was still light time during Atka's last scene in the movie after Nita show up and push him out of her way!
15. AUDIO PROBLEM: Whenever an animal speaks english in the movie, their mouths are forming the words they say, like a regular human. But when we hear them speaking bear language, their mouths are moving completely differently.
LMAO! How many animals do you know that talk like a bear? XDD
16. CONTINUITY: When we first meet Nita, we see a wide shot of her village. At her wedding, the village is covered in snow even though earlier it was completely dry.
Wait a minute! Are we talking about the same scene when Nita was getting married to Atka before the spirits stop it?
17. CONTINUITY: When Nita's bag washes ashore after falling down the waterfall, it washes up very close to the water. But in the next shot, it was moved father away from the water.
Wow that bag doesn't know when to make up it's own mind now does it? *snickers*
18. REVEALING: When Kenai goes to help Rutt and Tuke with the moosettes, Nita says "Kenai, we don't have time for this." If you look closely, after she says this, she stops moving completely.
PPFT! That's no error. That's just standing still! *giggles*
19. CONTINUITY: Right before Nita transforms into a bear, she looks at Kenai and Koda. In the next shot, they are gone, only to reappear later.
Hmm last time I check, I'm pretty sure they were right there when she was looking at them. Or maybe my memory has gone bad. ^^;
20. OTHER: When Kenai transformed into a bear, his clothes ripped off right out his body. But when Nita transforms, nothing happens to her clothes. In fact, they seem to change with her.
Okay now this? *points to number 20* This I can agree on because that's been bothering me for quite some time now. I think the spirits have different ways of changing human boys and girls into animals. Either that or....maybe they didn't want the audience to see her naked if they ever plan to change her back in which I ever doubt that will ever happened!
Anyway, we are just about to wrapped up. There's one more left and here it is; *points down*
21. CONTINUITY: At the end, we see a wide shot of Kenai and Nita's wedding. A few seconds later, we see Nita walking down the aisle. Given where she was standing, we would've seen her in the wide shot. But we don't see her at all.
Just what is it with all of these wide shots they keep bringing up huh??
Anywho, that's about it for all of those mistakes I could catch up on. I never realize that there was 21 of them. That's a lot!
Also one last thing I probably should bring up is a question I found too. Someone and I'm not really sure who it was (no username was given out) asked out when Koda was the spirits to change Kenai back into a man, but they don't show up until the next day, and why it take so long, so it got an answer (probably from the main person whose running the site I think) and they said that might of been their real reason why they waited up so long so they were looking for the right of moment to turn Kenai back into a human.
Well I found a lot of them on BB2 when I look it up, and so maybe a lot of you didn't see some of these errors in the sequel if you have the movie on home, so I'll just bring it up for you and share my reactions to it ^^
