I'm completely new to rp-ing but thought it might be fun to try. So please be sure to correct me if I don't do something right. 
Anyways here is my char. Let me know what you think!

Name: Togiak
Species: Ursus arctos – Brown or Grizzly bear
Gender: Male
Age: Young. Six in bear years or roughly sixteen to seventeen in human years. Though at times he may act immature and seem younger.
Personality: Togiak can be somewhat shy and is generally very cautious when meeting new people. Once he gets to know others, however, he proves to be very friendly and easy to get along with. At times he may lose his temper and does not always act his age. Togiak also shows to be a tad bit lazy and will try to put things off until the very last minute. Though shy, he is also very adventurous and loves trying new things.
Bio: Togiak was born and lived in what is now southwestern Alaska. His parents were very protective of him when he was young and did their best to shield him from any happenings outside of their neighborhood as to keep him from any “evil “ that may be out there. Around the age of five, Togiak got into an argument with his parents causing him later to flee. This was partly to get away from them, and partly to be able to more with his life. He knew nothing of the outside world, and wished to explore it.
Description: Togiak has dark brown fur, with near black patches on his legs and stomach. He has a medium-small build (slightly larger than that of Kenai). Unlike the chocolate color of most brown bear’s eyes, his are a deep blue color. Those that he knew while growing up thought this to be unnatural, but accepted him nonetheless.
