OK, got this idea from www.savedisney.com. They have this "What does Disney mean to me?" topic once in a while, posted by some of Disney's die-hard fans... So, I thought if you are a member on this board... you must have interest in the movie? Even a little? So... I guess Brother Bear have to mean something to you... OK, Brother Bear to me... is more than just the movie... although I don't have a brother... (Well... sorry Keni, but I don't, but I do... XD) somehow that sense of a family hits me... and that Welcome song during the salmon run sequence... all the bears, all the fish... sharing without holding back... true brotherly love... Also how Kenai transformed... not only physically, but in his mind... I kinda don't know what I'm talking anymore, but I hope all you will understand Well, what are your thoughts?

Ahh, yes... I've just been there recently. I personaly think Eisner should go, for reasons I should not say. But I get your poin, honestly I do. Disney should at least TRY to do better sequels, and have the re-hire the animators that got fired.

Interesting topic (And a very late reply to boot!).
Well, to me Brother Bear means a lot. It got me interested in bears, and because of it I met a lot of nice people, and made new friends. It was such a touching movie, and like Niki said, the sense of family of it, how they all got along and shared. It would be incredible if the world was that friendly and caring.
It stands right up there as one of my favorite movies of all time.

As before I watched brother bear, I was all ready this kind of person whom likes wildlife and the nature around him more than modern civilization. I'm not saying that I hate the way how it goes around here in this world, but things could go so much different, and better for everyone.
Brother Bear brought me to think about things like brotherhood, family, regret and love and much more. The first time was so intense, that it pressed on my feeling pretty hard, and brought me to think about things that happened in my past which I could compare with how things could go different.
Brother Bear, especially the first film, every time I watch it with big open eyes, listening to the story of a boy whom became a man by becoming a bear. Perhaps it even changed my point of few to some things in life, (sounds very far-fetched I know).
Same as Ken'ichi, it brought me to get interested in bears, and well to bad that I'm quite late with it, I still found you people around here. ^^

My experience with Brother Bear is long to explain and I'll try to tell that story later; for now I'll talk about my own brothers and what this movie means to me. I have one older brother and two younger brothers, and I am one of the middle brothers. Thus, I have related to both Kenai and Koda at times. I also love animals. They way that this movie portrays brothers through beautiful artwork, great emotional songs, and overall brotherly love has really made me rethink my relationships with my own brothers. I believe that Brother Bear has helped me to better understand people's viewpoints as well as to truely love.

Brother Bear doesn't really mean anything special to me, it's only that i've gotten possessed by the movies, so I tried to search up some information for a sequel (BB3) or something else like the TV series which they for some reason canceled.

Brother Bear indeed means a lot to me.. . Somehow,it hit me harder than any other movies i'd watched.. . There's so many unforgettable scene.. . Kenai and Koda's relation as friends until brothers during their journey.. when Kenai trying to save Koda by grabbing him in scruff while running away from Denahi.. when they rode on the mammoth.. The Welcome Scene when they made it to Salmon Run.. The Confession Scene.. And also from the sequel, when they were having fun during "Welcome To This Day" scene.. when Kenai got married with Nita in the ending scene.. And many more.. They are so cute.. XD . . Gosh.. This movie turned me into a "bear" I don't know how to say it..

Hard to put it in words...
Brother Bear (and The Lion King, I really love Disney and animals!) is one of my favourite movies of all times, but is more than that.
I guess is like the "Welcome" song, where Kenai starts to get a feeling of belonging to a place, to a family, to someone (his new brother, Koda).
I've watched the film with the same sense. My heart belongs to the movie when I watch it. Something like that.
And that's only the story. Technically speaking is one of the most beautiful and majestic of all Disney movies - heck, of ALL movies!
Yeah, is something like this...

Brother Bear means alot to me.Its really the first movie I had EVER liked other then Godzilla.Brother Bear was just a simple movie that got right to the point,as well as joking now and then.I think its a powerful movie that never really gets as much credit as it derseves from the media.
To me Brother Bear will always remain as my own personal favorite movie.
