just a thought, wouldnt it be interesting if at the end of BB when the spirit of koda's mother comes down to say goodbye to her baby, she saw koda with kenai with her baby.
i dunno, just think it would be an interesting scene to see kenai face the mother and how she would react to the one who ended her life taking care of her baby.
I have so many what if thoughts xD

Well, I can imagine Kenai's face. It's gunna be pretty close to the confession, but not as heavy.

ya I think he would feel pretty bad to see koda run up to his mom, but at the same time happy that he is taking care of koda. And koda's mom would proubly feel mad yet happy at the same time.

she'd probably just nod in acception. i think it would be an emotional/ dramatic scene
Another thing i thought would be really cool was if a film was made on koda living with his mom. Kind of like the way they did bambi, you would see through the bear's eyes from the very start.

In this case, I don't think there wouldn't really be a story to tell, except to retread the same ground the film did already. There wouldn't be a lot of room for character development, either. Still, the idea could possibly work as part of a sequel, in a flashback. Or if there was a TV series, there could be an entire episode devoted to showing a glimpse of their life. I think that would work well; while I don't think there's enough to say about them to provide an entertaining feature-length story, a much shorter version could be very interesting. As far as a full-length prequel goes, I think the human tribe could have more storytelling potential. If I were to write it, I think it would be centered on Sitka, as he came to terms with his responsibilty as the eldest brother. Still, it would be a very different sort of film from Brother Bear. Getting back to the original what-if, I think you hit the nail on the head, Rabid; at least, that's how I saw it, myself. ;D I think her expression would probably be solemn, but at the same time sort of motherly and reassuring.
