I have a few things to ask everyone in general about the forums.
1.) Emoticons- Yes or No?
Should I update the Kenai ones, or keep them the way they are? If I update them, it will be longer before they are put back up, but I will add extra emots and some better actions and maybe a different style to fit Kenai's personallity and looks from BB2. All in all they might stay the same, just be a little fancier and shinier.
Also, if you really wanted to have them, I could put Koda emots, but I'm thinking that he would serve better as the mascot for the boards, like a little icon of him for status announcements and also for other things. Who knows. But I'm literally stuck on Kenai, he's my favorite character.
Rutt and Tuke? Out of the question (you know how hard it'd be to sprite those two?!) Humans? I don't think so.
2.) Member Ranks-
I'm thinking about making the ranks something more remarklable. I was thinking of changing the size of the paw prints, the style of them, and what species they are depending on rank. And also ranks, I want to change them so that if you get a certain amount of posts you'll get a better rank. Want me to change the ranks so the highest posters (I MEAN HIGHEST!!!) get better ranks?
3.) Finally, the biggest question...
I wasn't going to reveal this so soon, but I decided that you all deserved to know; I had planned on MOVING AAAB to InvisionFree's boards, a much more customizable, reliable and easy navigationable enviroment..
Now, before you make your descision... I really have some faith in this change. Now that Niki has the site back up, the icons and stuff won't go down very soon, so I thought now would be a great chance to change pace. I can make MANY MANY emoticons, more buttons, more fancy stuff, much more choice in skin developement, and just plain sticking new skins on there anytime instead of changing colors and crap here at proboards, and finally there is the accurate statistics, anywhere from LAST CLICK of So-and-So to Bigger profiles to better avatars and everything!
Nothing's stopping you from joining, but I'd rather you not use the forums quite yet until I finish everything.

Anyways, think about it. If you all REALLY don't want to move, or you just have problems with the design/provider, ect...please tell me what I can do. Like for the background. Does the black starry background make the light colored boards hurt your eyes? Or should I change the board skin itself? Any feedback is better than no feedback...

But Proboards (which are using Yabb 2 forum system) aren't so bad...
