Well, folks, the night before last night I came back after working at the theatre with my brother, and drank something cold- hey, I was thirsty. Then my esphopagas had a spasm, making all my chest muscles hurt. The pain was so great I actually passed out. Once I was brought to, I was brought to the hospitable, where I spent the night. After an EEG, CAT scan, blood test, and IV, they found out what was wrong with me and I got to go home. I was too weak to post until now, though.
Anywho, I thank God that everything turned out okay with me.

Aww thanks guys. ^_^ Yes, the scariest part was when I realized I passed out- I had thought I was asleep; I was afraid that I would pass out again- and that time my mother might not have been there to wake me up. *Shudders* Anywho, the worse part of the hospitable was the EEG- they taped wires to my head and measured my brainwaves. The doctors said that it was just because I was a touch dehydrated that the shock of the cold drink make my throat was like a little seizure in the muscles. With any luck, it was just a fluke. Thanks for your concern guys. Live long and prosper. -EbonyPatriot

Phew...I'm just glad you're okay. Just goes to show that dyhydration can be dangerous. There are no early signs before it can be risky. Make sure to drink lots of water, even if you don't feel like you are necessarily thirsty.
*Hugs* I want my black dino to be safe!

Yikes! That sounds like a frightening experience. Like Truttle said, dehydration can be a very serious thing, though we often don't realize it's happening. I'm glad to know you're all right!
