Not sure guys heard about this or not but Steve Irwin (a.k.a. the Crocodile Hunter) died today at the age of 44. A stingray stung him and pierced his heart. More information can be found here: www.cnn.com/2006/SHOWBIZ/TV/09/04/australia.irwin/index.htmlI realize some of you may not have liked him at all; but I loved watching him- it is becuase of him that I love crocs and Australia in general. Much of my youth was spent watching his show; thus, I feel like a part of my childhood has died as well. Rest in peace, Steve Irwin.

This news shocked me this morning, I just couldn't believe that he was gone. It saddened me deeply, yet it lifted my spirit that Steve kept on doing what he loved to do right up until the very end.
I loved his personality and shows, and he will remain forever in all of our hearts. Rest in peace Steve Irwin, Crocodile Hunter.

I was really shock when I found out the news about this on imdb. I couldn't believe the world famous Crocodile Hunter died today....and today is my dad's b-day. Geez, what a sad drepessing day for a cool guy to die on someone's parent's birthday like this! Sheesh! I use to like watching his show and I always wonder how the heck he can fight crocodiles and other wild creatures. I thought he was crazy! But it saddens my heart to see him go.... R.I.P. Steve Irwin You will missed very much....

Yeah it was really shocking. I really love his shows especially the croc hunter diaries. I can't believe that anyone with that much dedication and experience died.

I could hardly believe it when I heard. It's taken days for it to sink in. Like a kid, I couldn't help feeling like he was immortal. I loved his enthusiasm for his work, and for sharing his knowledge and experience with others. I wish I could have met him. Rest in Peace.

I heard about it. It's really sad but it seems weird that hedied from a stingray attack instead of a crocodile or something. We had a conversation about this on Disney Dreams. But it's still sad thinking about it.
