I have made plans to visit a few of my bears to meet in person. You probably know who you are because I've already mentioned it. The first one will be Silent Dawn! So I'm going to be taking a trip over to visit him. I'll be gone for a week starting the 1st of August. I won't be back until the 6th. So I'll see you later guys!

Really late mentioning this, but I've come back from visiting SD over the week. I had a blast! SD was really nice and friendly, but also kinda on the quiet side. It's understandable though I was so quiet too. We were probably still nervous around each other. We made a joke about it neither of us talking much. On the first day we went camping and I was able to sleep out in the woods. Its was cool! And then on the next day we hiked through some wood trails. It was some beautiful scenery! Then on the next day we went to an amusement park called Busch Gardens. I gotta say, that theme park put some other theme parks to shame. It was so good! Some really great rides and roller coasters! After that we hanged out at his house. A friend of his came over a few times and we hanged out with him. He was a cool guy. But the one thing that made the trip kinda rough was the heat! This is my first time experiencing humid heat. This kind of heat just hits you in the face and surrounds you. No amount of shade can help! And the mosquitoes made a buffet out of me! I'm still itching! But other than that, it was a great trip! I got to visit a good friend and get to know him. I'll never forget it. Now to try to plan to visit Keni!

I'm sorry I forgot to wish you safe travels; I've been so busy with work, and then completely crashed on the weekends. Anyway, sounds like you had a great trip! Wish I could've been there. ^^ It's exciting to meet face-to-face with online friends. Sort of surreal, isn't it? I've only done it once, and only for a few hours, but it was a lot of fun. ^^ Ah, the humidity, the oppressive heat, the mosquitoes; sounds like home. XD It's not exactly something I miss about Houston, but it does seem to make me nostalgic...I must really be homesick.
