I have been wondering and wanted to ask everyone here at AAAB, "What is your favorite season?" God poured this thread idea into me awhile ago, and I found it very interesting! ^_^
My favorite season is the chilly, icy Winter! Winter's relaxing weather is one of my most favorites. I seem to have much more energy in the cold of the winter months, and the season hold so many precious memories for me! And last, but not least, one of my favorite holidays is in the same time: Christmas! It's truly a wondrous time of the year! ^_^
The more heated seasons, such as Summer, are also enjoyable, but I find myself excitedly waiting for Winter every year!
So what's your favorite season? ^_^

This is quite an interesting topic Leif and I think it's good. =3 ;D
I think my favorite season would be Fall. I don't know why, perhaps because of how beautiful it is. The way the leaves change colors mixed in with rains and cool weather, all those changes truly show God's gift. I love it. =3

Oh! Winter, definitely. I just love the season, it always feels so peaceful to me. Sure here in Puerto Rico it's the same as every season (Tropical island and all), but I love it.

My favourite seasons are spring and summer, the time when the nature is alive. I love the warmth, the lush landscapes, the scent of flowers, the singing of the birds.. and the long days and light nights. I suffer from hay fever each June, though, but still to me it's a lovely month.
I do like autumn and winter too, and I'm glad we have the four seasons here in the north. I actually can't stand a terrible heat going on for weeks; we had a summer like that three years ago and to me it was rather nerve-wracking towards the end. Though I pretty much dislike the short, cloudy days and dark nights, especially if the weather is rainy and there's no snow at all. It's terrible to be in a city on a day like that. I'm glad that I live in the countryside.
I must admit that the colours of autumn are beautiful. If you think that the autumn in Finland is ugly, just go to the woods and look at the trees!

Ahw *holds an arm around ya* I'm sorry to hear that about your fever's. Two sisters of me are having that same problem around May to June I do hope that you still can enjoy the time being.
My favorite season well that's one hard time of a question actually, let's see well my desicion would be based on the weather/climate condition in the Netherlands, for that cause I would say Spring. After quite a cold winter with lots of rain and the time when gray is the colour that fills the skies.. Spring is definitely a season to look forward to, when the trees start to grow leaves again when you can actually see the colours of nature. And all so a great time to vieuw birds which are returning after their vacation in the South hehe.
Yeah I like all the seasons, but for winter.. Last year, we had some snow.. but only for a day or three in a row.. (and that happend like 2 times in the entire season) and really when I say "we got snow" I mean like an inch or what? at max! For me I would like to see trees coverd in snow, an fully white landscape. So for that cause, the winter is only like wet, cold with boring weather most of the time raining etc etc to get depressed from. xD Not a real winter to my opinion.
Yeah we European bears prety much favour every season, but there is nothing better than waking up after your hibernation and finding them growing berries right next to your cave.

If I'm in Georgia, I prefer Summer. It's hot, sunny, amusement parks are open, you can get an awesome tan, and when you drink, it's a billion times more refreshing. And since you're in the USA, you have air conditioning pretty much everywhere, so you don't need to be surrounded by fans just to sleep. ^^ If I'm in England, however, I prefer the winter. Summers in England are humid as anything, and houses here don't have air conditioning, so you sweat ALL the time.. inside or outside, and because of that it's difficult to sleep because you're so uncomfortable. So winter here is more welcome than summer. =3

Heh, thanks, Bruno *hugs you back* It's not very bad, actually. Pretty much sneezing and running nose, at times even sensitive eyes, but it's not as bad as it used to be when I was younger. I remember during my pre-teens it was so bad that I would sneeze something like ten times at one go - and going out I had to wear sunglasses if I didn't want to have itching eyes I do try to avoid places with lots of hay on June. But yeah, I still do enjoy June very much. I always have. Such a beautiful month ^^ So, Midnight, you live in two places, I understand? I can imagine what it's like in England, I've visited the country several times, and there are those old charming stone houses.. with no central heating or, like you said, air conditioning.

Well, I don't actually live in the states at the moment. I used to though, and I go back to visit family every year (has been summer the past few years), plus I'm moving back permanently this summer, so I have a good idea of what both places are like. =3 EDIT: Not moving back this summer anymore. Gonna get a Bio degree here first, so.. 4 more years. :3

Well, actually, November is still autumn and it's rather a depressing month if there's no snow at all. The leaves and the beautiful colours are gone, the weather is the same, boring and rainy, the days are getting shorter and shorter all the time. Yesterday there was a hint of sunlight and the sky was brighter than usually. I did plan to go out.. but then I started doing something else and before I knew it was getting dark again. Silly me.. I shoudl've thought about it earlier Last week we did have snow and it was really beautiful, but then it melted away. I so hope to see more snow soon! I'm getting bored with this weather :S The wintertime here is just like that: wonderful if there's snow, but awful, if the snow always melts away. There's another reason why I like spring and summer: the weather isn't so depressing. EDIT: I forgot an important detail: if the sun is shining, then it actually doesn't bother so much even though there wouldn't be snow. The sunlight makes everything so different, so beautiful and colourful.

Last winter was AMAZING. At some point, the temperature dropped to -20 Celsius (-4 Fahrenheit). You could actually ice skate through the entire country. Go on a trip for like an entire day! It was epic epic epic epic. We rarely get winters like that! I love winters! I love Christmas! I love snow! I love ice! And New Years Eve is my favorite holiday of the year. My hobby is fireworks. The entire garage is already stuffed with display shells, mortar racks, cakes, rockets, etc. for next New Years Eve ^^; I made my first order of legal fireworks a few days ago (worth 252EUR) and it should arrive on 29December, and it's probably not going to stay that way. Everything combined, I think I'll reach 1000EUR this year o.o; That's a damn lot, but I save stuff from different occasions through the entire year. I'll make sure to post a compilation of my New Years Eve in the next Happy New Year topic. ^^; Oh, and I love winter!
