Heheh it took me a lot of time. I think the hardest was actually finding the videos and picking the parents’ names. ^^ Thanks.

So you imagine Fire having the voice of that alligator?

Well, a bit more of Ken Page's Oogie-Boogie voice than King Gator's, but King Gator was more fun to link to. ;D

Different than how I imagined his voice. That reminds me, did you see my character meme showing the voices I chose for a couple of my characters such as Axel?

Heh the only characters I had cast before were: EbonyPatriot (still Mark Hamill), Roanoke (now Vincent Price), Tyonek (now Toby Keith) Tazer (now George C. Scott), Kojak (formely Tobey Macguire, now Julian Rebolledo), Nyctea (formely Kirsten Dunst, now Tress McNeille) Turgor (formerly James Garner, now Darren Dunstan) and Ring-Of-Fire (formely Brian Doyle-Murphy, now Dominic Nolfi). ^^ Fire’s voice could also be heard here: disney.go.com/music/various-artists/nightmare-before-christmas-special-edition (track 13). Yep. ^^ I liked how you had the actors’ pictures next to their characters; that was neat. Heh, I got the idea of giving links of voice samples from your character posts for Twinscar, Red, Midnight, BlackStar, and Ysengrim. ^^

Well I went through the entire list listening to voices you chose for your characters. The only problem is that sometimes I had a hard time figuring out which voice you had chosen, such as Black Ember's voice. A suggestion I have is to name a character you think best fits the voice you had intended, to avoid confusion. Like in the Black Ember one, you had 4:49 marked down, but in the clip, 4:49 has Eduardo (sp?) speaking, and I'm pretty sure you don't want a male's voice for Black Ember. ^^;

Oops I thought I fixed that; it’s supposed to 439. I actually do have a list of whose actor each character was based supposed to be; I could post that if you’d like. ^^

Name: Tuque (Tuktu) Age: Twenty-eight months old Gender: Male Species: Barren ground caribou Scientific name: Rangifer tarandusName Origin: Tuque is a city in Quebec; Tuktu means "deer" or "caribou" in Inuit Voice: Kenny Chesney Voice sample: www.youtube.com/user/KennyChesneyVEVO#p/u/6/AlXDo5WhQXI (210) www.youtube.com/user/KennyChesneyVEVO#p/u/30/lYQZJ9NUzYU (:11) Bio: Tuktu had a happy life, always happy to follow his sire. Though the two butted heads when he first matured, Tuque quickly settled down and helped his father with the herd. Like Tyonek, Tuque plans on mating with only one female and indeed, is in love with one, Kalone, though he's too shy to ask her to be his mate, despite the fact that she loves him back. Personality: Tuque is Tyonek's powerful second in command and actually. the better leader, more focused, if not quite as quick to decide and not without his own tendencies to mischief. Quiet and shy, when he's with someone he trusts, Tuque shows a far different side of himself: playful and mischievous. Description: Tuktu is five-and-half feet high at the shoulder (tall for a caribou) and seven and half feet from nose to tail. His broad, cloven, black, spongy hooves contrast with his white 'feathering' and socks. His body is still quite a bit gawkily and long-limbed, framed with shaggy hair. His fur is iron-gray (save for his snowy neck) with white undersides and around his eyes. Tuktu's antlers are over two-and-a-half feet high and his liquid eyes are dark and mischievous. Sire: Tyonek Dame: Minto Mate: Kalone Trivia: Tuque was originally a minor caribou of Tyonek's herd from a Balto fic who later Tyonek chose to lead the herd in Tyonek's absence. For the role-play, Tuque serves pretty much the same role. When I was rewriting it, I decidded to explain why the were always together and decidded that Tyonek would be Tuque's sire. Recently though, I also decidded to rename Tuque Tuktu, simply because Tuque is too close to Tuke. Notes: Based on Sunnybank Thane

Name: Kalone Age: Twenty-eight months old Gender: Female Species: Barren ground caribou Scientific name: Rangifer tarandusName Origin: Kalone is a stream in British Columbia Voice: Faith Hill Voice sample: www.youtube.com/user/faithhill#p/u/17/bNnlcqf00YUBio: Kalone was her parents’ last fawn together, though she has many half-siblings. She always had a relaxed life and still feels sorrow at the death of her sire to the Pack and as such, is suspicious of the Pack. Kalone is in love with Tuktu, although the latter is too shy to ask her to be his mate. Kemano, a rival of her sire, has set his eye on Kalone and is considering trying to have her as a mate. Personality: Gentle and quiet, she tended to keep to herself; yet let a beast ask her opinon and she’ll give a mouthful. Playful and clever, she too loves Tuktu and is eager to have a family of her own. Description: Pale cinammon beige fur, white on neck after head joins neck to rib cage, underbelly, around eyes and socks. Kalone’s mane is short and fine, with faint feathering from her legs. Like all females, her antlers are small (though medium length compared to females) and delicate. Sire: Keno (Keno is a city in the Yukon) Dame: Toksook (Toksook is a city in Alaska) Mate: Tuktu Trivia: Notes: Based on Sunnybank Fair Ellen

Name: Minto Age: Five years old Gender: Female Species: Barren ground caribou Scientific name: Rangifer tarandusName Origin: Minto is a city in Alaska. Voice: Carrie Underwood Voice sample: www.youtube.com/user/carrieunderwoodVEVO#p/u/19/m36xv75MJ4UBio: From the times both were fawns she loved to play with Tyonek and race with him. When she became older, several of the females were jealous of the fact that Tyonek picked her to be his only mate. Hurt by their rejection, always eager tpo help but shy about responding, Minto became slightly more distant, more eager then prefer to not bring attention to her actions. Still, Tyonek, as well as the rest of the herd, are well aware their mutual love. She had a full brother, Oka, who was always challenging Tyonek and took over. Oka was a terrible leader and was killed by the same griffin that crippled Tyonek’s leg. Minto mourned her brother, in spite of his flaws, and named her offspring by Tyonek, Tuque, after him. (Tuque, like Oka, is a city in Quebec). Minto was a good friend of Dulcis, Roanoke’s mate and mother of Rutt and Tuke. It was Minto who suggested Dulcis travel south to Manitoba (Manitoba was the land Minto’s sire had been born in). Currently, Minto helps Tuktu out and worries about Tyonek. Personality: Clever and friendly, Minto loves meeting and speaking with beasts. Though she tries to hide how much she loves her mate, all can see their mutual love. Gentle, shse loves to help out, but prefers to not have the attention drawn to that, instead acting indifferent. Description: Copper brown fur. White neck, extending from roots of her ears to edge of her shoulder; white underbelly, around eyes, and stockings. Silky, short mane with medium length feathering on each foot. Minto’s antlers are small compared to a male’s, but large yet delicate compared to a female’s. Sire: Benito (Keeseekoowenin) (Benito and Keeseekoowenin are cities in Manitoba). Dame: Kokanee (Kokanee is a lake in British Columbia) Mate: Tyonek Brother: Oka (Oka is a city in Quebec). Offspring; Tuque (Tuktu) Trivia: Tyonek’s mate, recently added. Oka, her brother, was an unrelated bull from the same fic I introduced Tuque in. I decided to make them related to tie in their similar names (both Oka and Tuque are cities in Quebec) as well as give some backtory to Minto. Dulcis, for the roleplay "In the storm” I had planned to be in Manitoba to tie-in with the PC Brother Bear game. So to tie-in, I thought Minto, could have been the one to suggets she head south to Manitoba (since I was going to use Roanoke to tell the Pack about Tyonek). Notes: Based on a character from the Black Stallion’s Blood Bay Colt.

I found a song that reminds me of Fire. It's by Linkin Park and the song is One Step Closer. www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_wtHnZytyQI picture the song being sung from his point of view. The song seems to highlight Fire's arrogance and stubbornness, how he might act like he knows everything yet won't acknowledge his faults. I also picture the song focusing on the relationship between Fire and Stone, and perhaps even Fire and Blizzard if referring to the Fire of Shadows. At some points, the song even seems to cover Fire's love and demand for attention.

Cool, I'll have to check it out. ^^
Some misc trivia ^^:
Troodon is the official genuis; borealis is from me; it means north
Kermode has always been one of EbonyPatriot's parents. Since the kermode bears are found in British Columbia (and the name comes from a man's last name), I decidded to have that be Kermode's home range.
There are birds, such as raptors and songbirds that have a delay between maturity and independence, marked by different plumage coloring; bald eagles, for example, can be on their own, but will not gain the white feathers or be able to breed for several years. (Thanks to my biology teacher for being willing to explain this to me).
The white mark on EbonyPatriot's chest is actually from my golden retriever, Watson. The black coloring and white-tipped toes are from my terrier-whippet mongrel, Bo.
Albert Payson Terhune is one of my favorite authors; the comment that EbonyPatriot "has enough guilt to feel bad when he’s done something wrong, not quite enough to stop him before he does again" is paraphrased from his autobiography.
Gulo gulo luscus is the official scientific name for North American wolverines.
The taser stun was from the 1970's. So I picked Tlęzáá for Tazer's dame since it sounded like Tazer.
For the wolverines, the colors are matched to their wikipedia names and based on pictures of real wolverines.
Tyonek, in my rewrite, got a mate and offspring to tie in Tuque, as well as how he befriended EbonyPatriot.
Ferrum, like her dame, gets her name from the periodic table. Later, I decidded that Ferrum's family would pick battle based names.
Lochinvar Bobbie is a loyal collie from Albert Payson Terhune's "Lochinvar Luck."
Sunnybank Wolf was one of Albert Payson Terhune's collies. Wolf was hot-tempered, but not above joking and loyalty.
Sunnybank Lady was one of Albert Payson Terhune's collies. Lady was flighty and hot-tempered.
Sunnybank Explorer was one of Albert Payson Terhune's collies, a quiet, well-behaved collie.
That is Fair Play from Walter Farley's "Man o' War"
Sunnybank Lad was one of Albert Payson Terhune's collies.
Man o' War is from Walter Farley's "Man o' War"
Sunnybank Sigurd, better known as Treve, and Sunnybank Sandstorm are Albert Payson Terhune's collies. Zat was a crow from Albert Payson Terhune's "Lad of Sunnybank"
Sunnybank King Coal was one of Albert Payson Terhune's collies. King Coal was mischevous, always playing tricks.
Corvus corax is the official scientific name for a common raven,
Rangifer tarandus is the official name for a barren gound caribou.
Ovibos moschatus mochatus is the official scientific name for a musk-oxen,
Sunnybank Sigurd, better known as Treve, was one of Albert Payson Terhune's collies. Treve was a strange collie: always acting fierce, yet obeying every cmmand.
Adam M'Adam is a character from Alfred Ollivant's "Bob, Son of Battle"
The white mask comes from a drawing Truttle did of Turgor.
The alula is a feather on a bird's wing that reduces turbulence and helps a bird fly.
Ch. Lochinvar III is a character from Albert Payson Terhune's "Lad: a dog".
In Albert Payson Terhune's "The Runaway Bag," our hero, upset to find his uncle has tricked his dad into cutting the hero out of the will, turns to his fiancee for support. As it runs out, hwoever, the fiancee was only interested in him for his money. The fiancee sneered at marrying for love, noting that her mother did it and had to suffer workign for a living. No, the fiancee will only marry a rich man. I had already wanted Nebula to be a rival: I based her motives on this character.
Barnaby's the money-hungry bad guy, speciaily from the 1961 Disney film "Baes in Toyland". My thoughts about also provided some ideas about how Nebula should respond to Vetus.
I based Aerugo on Banquo from William Shakespeare's "Macbeth"
Sunnybank Goldsmith, better known as Bruce, was one of Albert Payson Terhune's collies.
Buff and Hero are character from Albert Payson Terhune's books "Buff a collie"; I'm afraid I can't remember which book Hero was from. Somnio was based on a family member's dog named Dozer (hence the name),
Sunnybank Thane was one of Albert Payson Terhune's collies. Thane was quet was strangers, mischevous with those he knew,
From Miss Elsie, a character from Walter Farley's "The Black Stallion's Blood Bay Colt."
Sunnybank Fair Ellen was one of Albert Payson Terhune's collies. She was normally quiet and shy.
And as requested, here's the character from the videos I pictured as my character's voices: EbonyPatriot Mark Hamill Joker when annoyed, otherwise more like the voice Hamill uses for Dom. Tazer George C. Scott McLeach Tyonek Toby Keith Main singer Ferrum Rachel Lillis Jesse Patronum Jeff Bennett Bradly Uppercrust III Sharka Tara Strong Melody Sokuyôn Cree Summer Susie (older) Loki Frank Welker Marahute, Abu (a combination of those voices) Tokala Kristen Chenoweth Lily St. Regis Makoktok Paul Kendel Clopin Turgor Darren Dunstan Gionvanni (Pokemon Live) Ring-Of-Fire Dominic Nolfi Ash (Pokemon Live) Ion Dee Roscioli D'Elia (Pokemon Live) Alkali Heidi Michelle Weyhmueller Misty (Pokemon Live) Caldera Martina McBride Main singer Ketone Brad Paisley Main singer Vetus Jim Cummings Razoul Talus Zoe Caldwell Grand Councilwoman Nebula Lauren Lane C.C. Aurum James Marsden Max Argentum Will Friedle Ron Aerugo April Winchell Peg Leucaspis Jodi Benson Ariel (younger) Caesius E.G. Daily Tommy Sollew Russi Taylor Webbigal Kocab Dan Green Entei Merakstar Kathy Najimy Tillie Menkib Cheryl Chase Angelica Kojak Julian Rebolledo Paul Nyctea Tress McNeille Daisy Specter (Ookpik) Maurice LaMarche Wolfman Roanoke Vincent Price Ratigan Specus Tim McGraw Main singer Turquoise Kevin Conroy Bruce Wayne Stone Terrence Mann Beast Rum Tum Tugger Tree-Star Kath Soucie Anita Black Ember Grey Delise Frankie Fire Ken Page King Gator Somnio Corey Burton Narrator Kemano David Deluise Jerry Balatro Rob Paulson Strut Belladonna Hynden Walch Vallina Tuque Kenny Chesney Main singer Minto Carrie Underwood Main singer Kalone Faith Hill Main singer
Except for Specus and Qoheleth (though white-tails stretch further today, much of their original range was more eastern), all of the animals I play in "Come out of the Darkness" and "All Alone" have ties to the Pacific northwest. Of the main characters that are specifically in the films, however, they are: caribou, musk-oxen, wolverine, husky, and moose. Loki is a deleted character, so raven too.

Name: Ferrugo* Age: Eight years old Gender: Male Species: Northern cave lion Scientific name: Panthera leo atrox boreas Name Origin: "Rust" in Latin Voice: Tate Donovan Voice sample: www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5pPxiVauGU (1026) Bio: Ferrugo is Nebula's younger brother from the same litter. Unlike Nebula, who inherited the rare blue-gray modifier on a mahogany coat; Ferrugo is the more common result of a mating between a blue-gray and a mahogany, with solid blue-gray hairs mixed with solid mahogany hairs, giving a brindle look. Ferrugo, unlike his sister, never cared for leadership. So while Vetus was fighting his way through the rank, Ferrugo met and fell in love with Talus, Vetus’s sister. Though it bothered him when Nebula laughed at his choice, Ferrugo eventually got over his shyness was planning on asking Talus to be his mate when Nebula killed Aerugo. Horrified, Ferrugo withdrew from the pride. Not until Vetus forgave Ferrugo shortly before Vetus left to join EbonyPatriot did Ferrugo ask Talus to eb his mate. Talus had always known Ferrugo would not agree of Nebula’s actions and agreed. Ferrugo helped Talus hold the pride together during Vetus’s time with the pack. The brindle cave lion was afraid of Savik; but remembering how Talus and Vetus didn’t hold Nebula’s actions against him, welcomed her into the pride as well. Now with Talus expecting her first litter, Ferrugo is worried about if he’ll be a good enough sire to his cubs, but still happy to be with Talus and eager to be a father to his cubs. Personality: Ferrugo, like his sire and to a lesser extent his dame, is a happy-go-lucky cave lion. Though selfish, Ferrugo does try to be a good guy and works hard to help the other cave lions. Impulsive and hyperactive, despite his bravado the cave lion can not stand to be alone. Though Ferrugo can take charge when need be, he prefers to let someone be leader Description: Lion-sized jaguar-like cat, midway between those cats with a jaguar jaws, neck and tail and a lion’s limbs and build. Smaller and skinnier than Vetus, with medium-length shaggy fur and a medium-lenghter mane). Fur is a mixture of blue-gray hairs and mahogany hair, creating a brindle look. White on paws, eyebrows, and muzzle. Solid mahogany on nose. Sire: Canities “gray-hair” in Latin (Blue gray with white eyebrows, muzzle, tail and cheeks; throat and chest silver) Dame: Aesculus “the winter or Italian oak” in Latin (Mahogany colored with pale brown eyes, stomach, paws, ears and ruff) Sister: Nebula * I'm not sure if I'll keep Ferrugo's name or not.

I drew a new picture of Fire. It's not complete yet, but here's the sketch of it so far: I forgot his scar, so I had to draw it on with the mouse. ^^; This is based on my new Dino Squad fanfic, Shadows, in which an alternate version of Rock Rangers and Darkarians (alimon of different generations living together, Fire is still alive, etc) appear on Earth. The Darkarians try to take it over, wiping out all life and remodeling it in their image, while the Rock Rangers try to stop them. Stone is still the Rock Ranger leader, but his father, Blizzard, is the Darkarian leader instead of Fire or one of his descendants. This is because, in this world, Blizzard started the rebellion, not Fire. I may try to color the picture soon. I'm getting a better hang on linearting and coloring using layers. I may use GIMP to color, or Photoshop. Not sure yet. I drew this while listening to Oogie Boogie's Song, hence the title. Ack! I just realized I forgot to draw the stripes on the back of his neck. Whoops!
